Installing Primary Pro insulation for an Air Source Heat Pump

I was a bit disappointed Octopus didn't use Primary Pro when installing my heat pump as they just clipped the 28mm primary pipework to the external wall and lagged over the top of it meaning there were thermal breaks for every pipe clip. I ended up using cable ties as the lagging in a couple of places wasn't completely covering the pipes and when I put my fingers around the back of the lagging I could feel copper pipe. I also gaffa taped a few places and used around 70 cable ties so there is continuous positive pressure to keep the lagging closed together. Primary Pro would have made for a much better job.

Normal house has 30kw boiler but only a 6kw heat pump and that includes the DHW. U cant afford to loose one ounce of energy so the old insulation methods are defunct. Primary pro is the only way to minimise losses to nil.
