2:17 It is important to notice that the axle bolt torque according to service manual is 59 N/m . The 9,7 N/m value refers to the nut of the rod that will slide through and hold the sliders in place. Please check that you applied the correct torque and safe rides :))

Do the two nuts need to be tightened in a specific order?

They need to be tightened at the same time. You prevent one nut from spinning and tighten another one based on required torque.

@@NYDStories Thanks, I had a previous pair that I think was defective. The replacement had a nut which was attached to the metal rod, which I guess prevents it from screwing into the unthreaded region.
