Installing quiet baffles on the Scout Bobber

These are the type of youtube video’s that all video’s should be like. End to finish, you answered my exact question on whether I should invest in the baffles. Since I ride in earplugs anyway I now know I can use the money on other customizations than the baffles as it’s not going to make it easier on my ears, neighbours or law officers. Thank you so much for this test and most useful video (like all your other videos as well!) Could we get a run down video on your bobber 60 bike with a the customizations you’ve done on it? Especially that rear tire, lookig at your insta profile I thought it was a 240, but in this video it looks wider (or maybe it’s just the TV makes things bigger 😝) As for the exhaust note on our 1130 bobbers - I just uploaded a video a few days ago of me taking off for a trip and my wife recording … 20 seconds in the thing was still loud ;) nothing like the radical radius’s on these machines! 😂

@@d2xu radical radius is the best exhaust for our bikes in my opinion. For solo builds the curvature flows super well with the body. I honestly will probably end up getting baffles because I forget ear plugs often and having the ear ringing disappear or lessen is a huge bonus for me! Thank you for the kind words! I will definitely do a full build review with future plans as well! And it is just your tv, looks huge in the video but it is just a 240. Also, keep letting me know what you guys want to see. Helps the content but also I can use my experience to educate and inform you guys on what to expect and do with certain parts, products and more 🤟

@@R0cket_Rabbit happy to help! I wondered as well and got the opportunity to check. Honestly it changed the pitch quite a bit. It’s kinder on the ears. So if you ride long distance they would help but for us with a 91dB law, it’s not saving you from a ticket if given. 🤟

@StreetPilots I think you hit it on the head when you said it's kinder to the ear. I'm usually riding 30mins or more on the highway and I can't do that without ear plugs. I love the sound this exhaust makes, but I always wished it was easier on the ear. I may need to switch out to the baffled one.

@@R0cket_Rabbit I may so as well, I’m happy they kept their sound and depth while reducing the ear ringing. I’m not worried about the loudness as I don’t take my bike downtown nor piss off people on the road.
