Thanks dude !!! Removed the jumpers on both(just to make sure), added both y-cables and the lights came on. No reverse though. MS has my left side now so we'll go back after the game and when the left comes back. But THANK YOU for you quick response and walk through !!! Much appreciated !!!

I just finished some chrome and the lights this weekend, but I have to redo all the lights because I got a too happy with the hot glue and I was running the back body mount flipped and it won't fit over the lights. I also put the receiver on the wrong side and all my lights are on the wrong side making it difficult to remove the body. I was hoping there would be signal lights too since it had the extra y cable

If you hook up 2nd y jack into steering channel it will flash blinker to whatever side you steering to

Why did you not show the placement of your y-cables. Showing where things plug in is much more helpful. Great job. Just trying to figure out where I went wrong and all these videos skip things. Wire harness installation is way more important than gluing lights in.

Sorry, the diagram they come with gas it but true can be a tad confusing. Plug the esc into the only place it can fit and the male plug kinda with it goes into the receiver. The long male plug on its own goes into the plug on the lights controller port #2 one closest to the middle. Make sure you have plugs all set with correct polarity

Make sure you do not adjust the Transmitter "throttle curve" that must be default settings.

@@NorthSideCustomRC Thank you man !!! I don't know if it's my MS that's got me crazy or what ? Did my sons Revo 3.3 with no issues. I set the car down to come at with a clearer mind. The only place I saw was on the esc at the back on top. Two sets. 3 pronged with 2 jumpers covering each set.

@@derrick2735 It's harder probably due to dynamic brake lights and reverse lights. Revo more plug n play. And they give an extra splitter for no real reason, only need one.

Installed the Redcat light kit in my 64 last night. Can't seem to get my reverse lights to work when in reverse on the trigger. I have my jumper on the control panel set in K2 at the moment. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

could be the throttle curve, if adjusted throws off the light kit

Where does the y cable plugs in at receiver and light control unit?

you have 2 plug ins for the y jacks. You only need one for the reverse/brake light signal (the other is for turn signals but not used with this kit) If you plug it in the wrong one and dont get brake or reverse light, put it in the other plug it should be fine. Other than that the wire harness are plug specific they only fit where they go.

This set up from Redcat you use y jack to link into Chanel 2 this makes lights work with throttle stick for brake lights and reverse lights
