Installing rocker switch to winch.

I am installing a rocker switch (handbar switch) on my ATV to connect to my Warn A2000 winch.
In order for the switch to connect to the winch you will need to use a relay (link below). The red wire from the switch will go to an ignition wire and the remaining green and black wires will go to the terminal on the relay. I spliced into a red wire near the headlight.
In order for the winch to connect to the relay you will need to run your red battery cable to the positive and black cable to the negative. You will also need a jumper from the small middle terminal to the negative post. After that I put the yellow winch cable on the left and the blue on the right.

I'm thinking you probably already had a relay for your twist switch, did you have to remove it and install a different one with the new rocker or could you wire the rocker to the existing relay?

The twist switch was the relay, both winch wires ran directly into the switch.
