Good job! I did the same shed but plu downstairs. I wish I had slotted them like you did on the loft and slid them down. I'm going to have to cut a small piece and block it in😂

Great video. I’ve been looking for a way to do my shed. Looks identical to yours. Is yours a Graceland shed?
@thisweelife68809 ай бұрын
This was very helpful since I have the smaller version of this shed with one loft. I am almost finished with the electrical and insulation. I have vents in the loft area. Did you take yours out? Should I take mine out? Will you be heating/cooling your shed constantly? Mine will only be heated when in use. Also since mine is so small and Sheetrock is heavy, I was going to put wood paneling on the ceiling. Would I do that first? Will you come help :)
@KlausMedia9 ай бұрын
I covered my vents, since vents are only useful if there’s a cavity up too similar to an attic for air to flow through and mine didn’t have one. Yes mine is heated and cooled year-round. Wood slats would work great! When we installed it in my cabin, we used tongue and groove and started on the top and worked our way down.

I’m in the process of finishing out a shed myself for my channels. I’m curious how you ventilated your ceiling?
@KlausMedia Жыл бұрын
In my part of the world, it’s not a necessary thing to do. But vents in the soffits were my plan.

you did a good job for this shed. I hired someone and he screwed it all up. Had to start over wall by wall.
@KlausMedia5 ай бұрын
That is a big part of why I do my work myself most of the time. No one else will ever care as much as you for your own project.

@@KlausMedia i'm a 60 year old girl and finishing up the problems. not too bad. cut out the bad parts and placed with new board. Thought I could hire someone but I will finish the rest.IN the corner he placed drywall up where there is no beam. SO either I take it down and put a 2x4 behind it or I placed a corner bead inwards with adhesive. hope that works and use hot mud set

How big is your shed? I have a 10x20. I was wondering how many sheets I would potentially need.

Mine’s the same size, I believe it was 15 sheets in the walls but I may be mistaken

Please correct me if wrong but if its less then 8 feet couldnt you have put the walls vertically?
@KlausMedia2 жыл бұрын
It is always best to put sheetrock horizontal unless the wall itself is less than or equal to 4ft in width. Then a single sheet vertically would suffice.
