Hello my talented friend. These are very good ideas. The stop block is very good. Mishap that occurs when grooving with the milling cutter. You closed the wrong channel well. The filling system you used was very interesting. You have created a nice useful workbench. The adjustable channel stop system was nice. Congratulations. Thank you for sharing. See you all the time. Big greetings. Stay healthy and happy.

thanks Mehmet. yes, it was a blunder, but could fill that all up with epoxy. I'm enjoying the t-track pretty much, and have already used it on a few different projects. thanks for watching :)

I added some much-needed *T-Tracks* to my 'flipping' Workbench! I did pay for these T-Tracks with my own money. They are pretty good value, and they are probably the cheapest in the market as well! So if you are in the market, then do check them out. Affiliate links: Banggood T-Track: use code BGWood11 for 12% off for the tracks uk.banggood.com/custlink/m3vR... Starbond CA Glue: use code *SUJ15* for 15% discount @ www.starbond.com Thanks for watching (and reading)

I feel your nerves cutting in the t-track! I had the exact same jitters after spending so long getting the bench built when routing in the groove. I like you went to the effort to fix the pass rather than just replace the sheet. It adds character!

Thanks James. Yes, that's exactly how I convinced myself to keep that part of the 'arty' workbench 😜😁

Most impressive Suj, bit of a bugger having the router go off course but as a maker you had the solution mate, stay safe & keep on making 🍻🍻👍👍👍

Thanks Dirk, not ideal, but when there are screw ups and as makers we always come up with solutions with what we have. Haha 👍😄

Looks like that track takes X4 screws? The track I buy from Rutlands takes itsy-bitsy screws which are a right pain to get in straight! Do you mind me asking what the track cost bud?
@SujMenon4 жыл бұрын
Yes Ben, I used a hinge drill bit to get the pilot hole automatically centred. Regarding costs, I paid around £16 total for 2 tracks, each 1m long. Was the cheapest at that point in time. Now I think their rate has reduced even lower, LOL. Here is the link if you want to take a look: uk.banggood.com/custlink/m3vRPRlVuU I might actually order some more at this price for some future projects.. Its even cheaper than Rutlands!

Oh my baggod Suj - some sweet upgrades there mate! I confess to laughing when you went off track with the router 🤣 how'd you do that? I've *never* done anything like that 😎
@SujMenon4 жыл бұрын
Rob, well, before this, it has *never* happened to me either. Haha.. usually I used to conveniently edit these goof ups out, but this one was bang on the middle of the workbench. Wasn't concentrating enough while routing that groove: straight edge was not clamped tight, and the bit was at full length setting from the previous routing!
@TakamiWoodshop4 жыл бұрын
@@SujMenon The straight edge slipping was what originally led me to buy the proper track for my circular saw. I've been meaning to get the router adapter for it too.
@SujMenon4 жыл бұрын
Yes, that would have been extremely useful. I have seen those starfleet enterprise type looking attachments for routers for straight edge (in Matt Estleas workbench video / for Bosch). Looked really interesting.
