INSTALLING THE CHEAPEST VW GTI SPLITTER I COULD FIND

I installed an $80 dollar GTI front lip splitter onto my Volkswagen Golf R!
I'm amazed at the quality and how sturdy it is, even with a little fabrication.

It was great! I did have to drill 4 more screws into the front piece to secure it even better, but after that it was rock solid!

I seen your comment on Amazon came to find out what the spacers that you used were. How's it holding up?

They held excellent! I ended up adding a couple more in the front with even thicker screws, just to make sure it didn’t budge at high speeds, and so far so good! I went even lower on the car, so I removed the lip to keep it from being destroyed. But had no issues with it

Lol really?? No bond such as tiger seal 😂 probably lasted🤔 well until you went over about 140 kph when the immense downforce tore it off🤦🏻‍♂️yeah bet it did look good for a day👌👏👏😂

Nahh actual metal hardware is always gonna be better for mounting. BUT I’ll agree it didn’t last very long because it’s cheap eBay plastic 😂
