It looks really sick. The rear is the best part. Not gonna lie the front looks like a glorified frs. It still looks like an frs style front. Idk if this kit is honestly worth 6k. That’s a ton of performance mods that could be done. It looks awesome it does, but the front doesn’t do it for me. Still looks like an frs. Awesome build tho guys.

I completely understand! I love the rear end. That is my favorite part... but you gotta remember this isn't my car haha so I let my cousin build the way he wants and the way he likes it. My only issue with this kit is the extra wrinkle in the side skirt. I'd still rate this kit 9.9/10. Wouldn't stop me from buying it though

U dont need to drill the sideskirt, u just need to glue to, silicone bodykit or windscreen silicone for cleaner look

The kit is the Arising 2 from Varis correct? I don’t know why but the hood in the kit showed that is has dips in the hood instead of one flat surface. Is that because you used the original hood that came with the car?

Yes, this is the Varis Arising 2 kit. From the images online is how they painted that kit. We use the OEM hood and just painted matched all the parts of the kit to the car. The imaged I think you are talking about online is that they painted part if the bumper to make it match the hood and painted part of the hood to paint of the car. It looks a bit different online than in person.

Hey Timothy, did you have any troubles putting on the front and rear bumpers? Were there any modifications you had to do to the car or does it just fit like normal? Car looks great!

Heeeey, there was some trimming needed to help fit it but not much. The rear had to be trimmed a bit as in the bracket by the tail light. The front fit pretty easily as you just follow the instructions given to you with the kit.

@@Timmy99988 just a question, i know im late. how did you guys get around the side indicators just under the fenders? failing to find a way to reattach it after a metal clip piece was missing, ( top clip that sits at the top corner of the indicator )

@@SonyComfasian sorry for the late reply. Yeah for that side market bracket, i think in the instructions it says to drill out the old one and rivet it onto the new bumper. Thats is what we did for my cousin's.

I am not completely sure but if the brackets are the same and mounting spots are the same, I don't see why not.

You can choose to buy the "widebody" kit or the "stock body" kit. My cousin did not want to cut up his RS2 FRS so that is why he went with the non widebody kit.

The side markets are a slight pain but not too hard. There is like a small clip inside you gotta remove to get it off, but beware they sidemarkers are known to break. The brake light? Like the bottom part on the rear of the bumper?

I understand what you are asking, I believe after 2017+ it became the Toyota GT86, which has a different bumper and headlight design. I don't think it would work with this specific kit. I believe they have a kit for a 2017+ for this Varis kit. I would check that out to be on the safer side.

Hello I'm a little late but I have a question I can't seem to find the answer to. I've looked everywhere online! On the 2016 FRS 2.0 release series, is the factory front splitter removable? Or do you need to replace the whole front bumper to not have a front splitter/lip?

The front splitter as in the OEM RS2 front lip that comes with the factory bumper? If so, this kit comes with a new front bumper, rear bumper, front lip, rear diffuser, side skirts and optional carbon fiber add-ons. Or are you talking about the splash guard or skid plate? If so, you can use your OEM splash guards and skid plate.

@@dookiemanadventures32 LOL so this doesn't pertain to the Varis Kit... so from my understanding, you are just asking about removing the front lip RS lip from the factory bumper... which you should be able to. I think it is held on my clips but I am not 100% sure. I would go under your car and check it out and see.

@@dookiemanadventures32 its all good. I was just confused at the beginning LOL. But yeah like I said, you should be able to. If you do sell that lip, make sure you get your money's worth because those are special to the RS2 only.

No there is other company with different kits. Darren choose the Varis Kit that we didnt need to cut the body.
