Hey Jon, unrelated to the video but wanted to say thanks for the vast amount of information! Sitting here cleaning my 2017 Alpine White N55 M2 and was thinking about swapping to the LCI tail lights. Your video was sooo helpful and the M2 is just a blast. Hope things are going well for you! P.S. I see a 135i every day at work and wish I could own them both!

I just have the gts splitter from POM performance, it’s not mounted to the chassis, just the front bumper. Might get this later, currently debating if I should supercharge mine lol.

Gt4 isn’t a splitter it’s a lip.

The proper GT4 lip (the long one) is functional and has the added brake cooling. A better choice if you are serious about tracking your car

@@Kreemy95the gt4 Motorsport splitter is functional in the sense that it has brake ducting (most of the reps do too) however it is not a Chassis mount application. I’m sure you could fabricate brackets to make it so but straight from bmw for the e9x, it is not. @@ThicWhips I was just going to link this! E92 M3 GT4 sadly doesn't have the power or the complete aero that you really need to chassis mount the splitter like a proper GT3 race car would. It's why they only mounted it to the bumper with nuts and bolts but it's still functional and produces downforce! I can definitely notice it when I'm on track. It's cool a company has made a chassis mounted splitter for the E9X M3 but seems overkill to me and I guess BMW M thought the same. It would probably make more sense to create a chassis mounted splitter for the GT4 lip rather than than GTS lip if you are going to chassis mount a splitter. BTW big fan of the channel!
