I’ll tell you man I refresh my 135, all m3 suspension bits. Love my set up for a daily and highly recommend. Now if I sell and want the same thing down the road, it will be hard to find because most people don’t replace bushings and plastic and rubber. There doing power mods which is fine but that means you got to do all that now let alone pay labor if you don’t diy. In the end I’m keeping mine and not surprise u decided the same. Plus they ain’t making bmw v8 8k redlines anymore. Cheers Happy holiday!

Be careful with the brass pivot pin. Ive heard sometimes they are softer than the factory plastic ones resulting in quicker wear + clutch disengagement issues. Just a thought

Good choice! I'm in the same situation revive an older 435i (actually wanted to get a project 335i coupe but to much was wrong with it) the costs add up when you really go into detail (im a bot of a perfectionist) I want to have it drive like a fresh car also put some extra efford in the suspention. It is very satisfying to get each thing solved as you go and turn it into your perfect version of your dream car. I still have a lot to do my car has now 200.000 kms, while it was dealer serviced still alot of things needed to be renewed. Anyway I get alot of inspiration by guys like you making this content..👌

For the drive shaft center support, will you also hear the those going slow over bumps? I have the same symptoms as well listening to you explain the diagnosis.

The support carrier bushing would have to be pretty badly destroyed to hear it going over bumps. But it’s likely something in the drivetrain or suspension
