Your absolutely spot on Mark, the plan is fine for well seasoned modellers, but for someone trying a build for the first time, would be put off by the lack of information on the plan, i also think they should have a plan for all wing sections as not everyone will know how to reverse the plan. Its hard enough to encourage building as it is. Excellent video again Mark, well done for pointing out the flaws.

Well done, for all of the problems you encountered I really like a kit that has the slots included for the ribs. That tends to strengthen the model quite a bit. On to the next build.

The kit has so much potential with a few more tweaks it could have been top notch.

The "not quite cut through" areas are tabs that are added to the laser cutter paths. They are necessary to keep the parts from moving while cutting. I learned that the hard way.

I was making a reference to additional areas that had not been Lasered rather than the retention tabs.

Love your videos. I think in this case you're being quite generous to the manufacturers/distributors who semed to have provided a pretty rubbish kit which thanks to your expertise you have managed turn into a decent built. Keep up the good work.🙂

Always been a scratch builder but WOW! this kit looks fantastic. Love what you do Mark....... ..... Are you going to put in the last diagonal in the RHS tailplane? 😅 Was hard to see on the floor. Love your method of mounting the electric motor. You shape balsa beautifully too. Just lovely videos Always something cool in your builds 😊

Thank you so much for the kind words. I enjoy scratching building too but it was fun to work out the issues in the kit design.

Hello Mark Croucher! That will be a nice model. How heavy will the model be when it is finished? And what kind of motor is it and how much thrust does the motor have with the appropriate propeller? I would like to know. Greetings from Lübeck Thomas
@MarkCroucherRC4fun9 күн бұрын
The motor is the recommended 28/35 running on 3s . I'll let you know the overall weight when Roy completes the covering and radio installation.

Nice model but why thrash it with electrical .. It deserves a fourstroke
@MarkCroucherRC4fun6 күн бұрын
Mine has a four stroke and she's a peach ,Jeff on the other hand is strictly electric.

Where did the plan print come from? It may be the plan printer that has the error and the parts are actually correct!
