Installing the new gauges to the K series Midget

In this weeks video, i fit the new dials from ETBinstruments including rev counter and electronic GPS speedometer which has functions for Trip 1, Trip 2, 0-60 time, max speed and brightness adjustment.

That wiring diagram looks much better than any others I have seen, BTW I have a deep seated hatred for those crimp on type connectors, they never last for long. Have you tried the WAGO ones? they are designed for mains use but are small, dirt cheap and bullet proof. I use them all the time, being reusable they are great when wishing to shorten wires later etc.

I'm also not a fan of those connectors but I'll be soldering them together next time I take the car to work. Not seen those wago connectors before

hi was the input for the rev counter taken from the coil?

just bought same gauges but goes to 80mph for a moggy... what engine in the mgb

Excellent! The engine in the MG is a 1.4 rover K series
