Installing the new video garage door keypad

This video came at the right time… I was recently thinking about buying this but I noticed a few bad reviews on Amazon and Best Buy so I had doubts. Now I think I’ll reconsider… now it’s time to convince my wife and show her the added convenience and camera over the old dirty keypads lol.

No issues so far. Seems to hold up the same as most video doorbells.

I have two questions 1:does that one device works for both garage doors? 2:why I can’t open or close it from my mobile phone? Note:my garage door opener is not WiFi support .

so this will only work with one garage door and you won't be able to open your garage door from your phone unless you add a device like the one shown here kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2WUaoRnaZqAg8U

Many reviews about battery life is too short. This product has too many things it checks on. I cannot turn those battery hogging actions off. I am going to hard wire this camera.

I purchased one of these cameras, as well as an extra battery….the same I did with my Ring doorbell. However, the major difference is the Ring battery lasts between 3-5 months based on activity and the best I’ve heard the battery for this product is, maybe 1 month! Seems like who ever made this product would have tried to come up with a way to make the battery last longer. If anyone has heard or knows differently, please reply and let me know.

I thought this was great until I hit the home button accidentally without a code first and realized anyone can enter by just pushing home button. Not safe!

I have one and its great BUT the battery life really sucks I would not recommend it because you have to recharge batteries all the time. It should come with the ability to make it hardwired if you could make it easily hardwired it would be an awsome product. As it is i would say stay away from it. I am stuck with it, I may replace it at some point so goodbye to $100 live and learn.

@@eziodeldegan414there's actually a different functions you can turn off that will extend the battery life. Personally I only have mine notify me when one of the kids enters the code in the door or if the incorrect code was entered. On average the battery at this point the battery lasts about 3 months. Before when I had motion detection on it would only last me about 20 days. But I totally agree having something that could be hardwired would definitely be an improvement the battery also seemed to take forever to charge.
