Installing the RaceDynamics Quickshifter on a Duke 390
The quick-shifter is usually a sensor reading the position of the shifter, informing a microcontroller of when up-shifting takes place in order for the controller to cut the fuel/ignition.
If you can get this for your bike, you will not hesitate for the money spent.

Nope... Not needed 🙂 just get the sensitivity of the quickshifter adjusted as per your liking

What does the sensor sense? It is just between the bolt and the metal so it will remain stationary wrt its contacts.. can you please explain🤔

part of senser that goes inside gear liver moves with the liver and other end is fixed. so it senses rotation

it richens up the mixture across the rev range which actually makes the engine run more smoothly and cooler. (lean mixture was set by factory for emissions standards) You can extend the redline (from 10500 to like 12000) which if you run it up there consistently is probably not the best. But for normal operation, the Powertronic should not damage the bike at all.

Nope it will remain stock... But once the quickshifter is installed you can adjust the sentivity of the gear changes.. Upshifts only...

The clutchless manual shifts doesn't harm the GB until you're doing it right! That's what the quick shift basically does but in a very less time ! It only helps in tracks to save laptime! Where it basically saves time in during on off transition of the throttle, you don't have to let go off the throttle to shift if you have a quick shifter!

Sahil Patel nope ride by wire is needed for an autoblipper, quickshifter uses ignition retardation to change gears. So theoretically any bike with an ecu can have a quickshifter
