In this video I finish installing the propeller shaft and timber rubbing strips then anti foul the propeller with Prop Shield (www.prop-shield.com/) and then install the rudder.
At the end I also inflate the new tender for the tawler and show the Tohatsu 6HP that will be powering it.

You won't regret getting the inflatable. They're so easy to haul on deck when towing isn't an option. Just one tip when towing the inflatable. I rigged a bridal from the rear handles along the sides and through the front D ring, to cut down the load on the the single D ring. When towing with the outboard on the transom, it will significantly increase the strain on that single front ring, and the bridal set up will take a lot of load off it. Loving your videos mate. Thanks for allowing us to share your journey.
@DangarMarine

I've really enjoying using the inflatable and I think it is going to be a great tender. Good tip about sharing the load so the front D doesn't get ripped out. That wouldn't be a great day.

Hey Stu, love the channel! An old trick a grey haired man once told me, as a good 'marine grade' anti seize, mix black molly grease at 50% with roofing tar. The tar seals and water-proofs the item and the grease stops it from hardening......ever!! I have tried this and it works remarkably well. I'm a diesel fitter with about 30+ years as a tradesman, so have a bit of an idea about some stuff!! Good luck, keep up the good work.

That is real progress! Starting to look like she's ready for sea. Oh yeah, I do have one of the same Tohatsu 6's , the sail version. But, it is crocked up now. I left it idling in a tub to flush it, but the tub had developed a hole so the water ran out. When I got back to it, the motor had seized. I can pull it through but the piston does not move freely. I wish I lived down under, so maybe I could get you to work on it. LOL

Hi Stu, Just an observation. When I installed the rudder on my 45ft narrow boat, I dropped three 1/4" loose ball bearings in the cup so that the rudder post sat on them and the "rolling resistance" was reduced. I am not suggesting you take it all apart again to do this, but it certainly made life easier at the helm.
@DangarMarine

Good video. You are a working machine! I suggest consider moving the sacrifical zinc on the rudder. The current position is in the area of maximum water flow from the prop. Maybe move it to the top or bottom of the rudder where the water flow will be less disrupted by the zinc. Best regards, Greg
