Installing Through Floor & Lower Subframe Connectors | 99 Saleen Mustang Build

This time I mock up the lower maximum motorsports XL subframe connectors before they get welded in for good. I also put in through floor connectors since I already had half of the channel cut out. This will also reinforce the frame rail channels and make them 100x stronger.

I have Griggs through-the-floor connectors (plus the lowers) and even up on jackstands, the doors close perfectly. You've got a rock-solid chassis.

thanks! yes sir just cut up some tubing and made my own. I remember Griggs racing had a kit that did the uppers and lowers

Is your steel from a kit if so what kit? Or what kind of steel did you use if you did it yourself?
