i discovered the other day that 08-11 element rear diff bolts up to rd1. same axles and drive shaft benefit is the clutch material an surface area is much better, as well as the pump is quicker. just search up rd1 element diff josh wolf has a video and there's a forum post about it

Hi Donny ;) I had a crv once the 2001 model, and I always thought about welding the 4x4 to engage all the time rather than coming on when the front wheels spin. It was very annoying at low speeds during the winter when I wanted the car to spin out faster. would be very cool to se someone actually do it to the crv and try it out drifting in the winter😁💥

Bad idea. Welding the rear diff would only make it harder for wheels to engage, and will burn up the diff clutches. Locking the clutches is possible, but without a separate viscous coupler added to the driveshaft - transaxle will blow to pieces as soon as all wheels get traction. CR-V isn't a Subaru. It's just a slightly more capable Civic. All things considered - I loved my 2000 Honda CR-V, 5-speed and AWD. It was FUN. But now family life got me into a 1995 Honda Odyssey.

I have a 2015 crv and it has stock suspension and I have over size tires on it and they don't rub until I carry passengers. I need about a 2 inch lift, do you think these coil overs in your video could help me out? Thank you for the video. Your honda looks good jacked up.👍

How is the CV axle angle? Is cockeyed like crazy? I’ve seen how fragile the element and CRV axles are they can snap the ends off at the axle nut.

I won't say the angle is crazy, but , you can definitely tell/feel it's not optimal . Probably going to drop it back down later this year..... not going with maxpeedingrods .

Finally, a video with the Truhart lift coil overs! I’ve been waiting/wanting to pull the trigger on these but needed to see some feedback from CRV owners. What upgrades did you do to the engine? My RD1 doesn’t perform the way yours does.

The crv is stock. About to start the b20vtec video, "B16A2 cylinder head". Should wake it up a bit. I think the coilovers are good for lots of lift, not much flex. Alot of street driving.

flat out suspension makes a 8" travel coilover id really like to try them out haven't seen anyone use them, not even pictures with them on a crv. plus theyre 1800 usd for the gr light and 2500 for the plus with adjustable dampening. they claim to work with strut spacers as well, my crv is lifted 3" the only thing i wish is that the suspension would be softer so i can send it on some gravel roads and be super extra plush with my 235/75/15
