Installing turn signal extension caps - A quick, easy, and impactful mod

One of the mods that I did on my Fat Bob is something that I've missed on my Road Glide. Time to install these Harley-Davidson turn signal extension caps (HD Part Number: 71500286). As mentioned in this video, after seeing these I think I might have just ordered the below set off of Amazon at about 1/3 the price of the HD caps.

Those are actually a fantastic idea!! I never even knew they existed. I always didn't like the weird reach on a cruiser it is to the indicator button. Pity they don't match 100% but nice easy job too and honestly I'd never notice the difference looks wise! Tasty.

The other really great extension thing you can get is a Horn Trigger. I have one on my bike. It's hard to press that little horn button consistently when you suddenly need too. Horn Trigger fixes that in 2 minutes.

Christian actually got the ones off Amazon and was showing them to me when we were in Louisville last weekend. Look the same. But they have a clicking feedback when you press them. Which I really liked. And they’re only like $10.

The good news is that they are cheap. A friend of mine got a set off Amazon and when we compared the two, the Amazon set was just as good as these that I got from HD.
