I'm curious about this update you mention coming from Velossa Tech

The grey you're talking about is Wolf Grey :D Almost went with a Wolf Grey K5, but ended up with the Elantra GT N-Line.

Yeah I think there are several names for it. On the Sonata they call it Hampton Gray.

In Canada it is called Iron Grey

Do you have to worry about water entering the snorkel on rainy days?

i love watching the mods you do on the car, i unfortunately have had to file a LEMON law Claim on Mine- and am waiting from Hyundai Motor America For a decision, on my claim. mines been nothing but Problems From Noises ( rattles Creeks ETC) to Electronic Head unit Replacements and the Transmission and al the way down to Replacing Faulty Trim Pieces.

Hello Justin. I am in Grand Rapids, MI and not many, if any N Lines in GR. Has anyone come up with a better horn? Thanks for the video on the ram air intake.
@JustinKelly3 жыл бұрын
That is a good question. I have not heard of anyone swapping them but it is something that would be nice to have a louder/deeper horn.
@narcotama3 жыл бұрын
Been really curious about this mod. Have you noticed any significant improvements? Can't find any reviews, performance wise, about it. Every just talks about how nice it looks. Is that all it's good for?
@JustinKelly3 жыл бұрын
If you watch my first video about it I discuss that more but on my last car I honestly saw a slight increase in MPG. I haven't used this one enough yet to say but I wouldn't be surprised to see that again.

You think it’s possible to swap the new radio head unit?
@JustinKelly3 жыл бұрын
The 10.25" from the I30? I think so with some sort of work. What that amount is I am not sure.
@bigd909093 жыл бұрын
@@JustinKelly the mounting point looks similar from the videos I’ve seen. You think the new headlights will fit or would I need to get the new bumper too
@JustinKelly3 жыл бұрын
@@bigd90909 I think the radio would fit without modification physically. As for the headlights they will require the new bumper because they are slightly different shape.

@@JustinKelly bummer. If you get any more ideas to improve the interior make another video. Not a lot of content for this car out there.
@JustinKelly3 жыл бұрын
@@bigd90909 I have at least one interior part I want to add for the dash but the cost is fairly expensive. As much as I would love to continue buying all these parts I cannot justify the price without some assistance. I think I will have an announcement fairly soon about a Patreon page so I can continue to provide videos of parts people would like to see. I hope everyone understands 😊.

I just purchased a 2021 n line, do you have any idea how mechanically similar I should expect mine to be?

The car will have a lot of similarities but being a different generation it will obvious differ somewhat.

@@JustinKelly yeah, I'm hoping the same tune, turboback, intake and bov would work. I'd think so
@JustinKelly3 жыл бұрын
@@coolerthansteven There are differences in the intake I know for a fact. Not sure about the other things but since it is the Smartstream 1.6T there are differences there too with Wastegate and other things.

@@coolerthansteven I think the power figures you see acvhieved by mine and others with the 2nd gen 1.6T (or just 2.5 I guess you could say for some) (2017+ ES, 2018+ GTS/NLine, 2019+ Veloster, 2020+ Forte GT are all very close to what you could get out of the new Smartstream 1.6T. If I had to guess within 10-15hp of a given set of mods + tune.

So this is just supposed to improve the amount of air gets taken in or basically the pressure the air comes in? Do you notice any difference? I'm in Europe and I bought myself a i30 N Line and like the idea of something colourful looking out of the grill :p
@JustinKelly3 жыл бұрын
To some degree the amount of air that comes in but since you can only fit so much before the Turbo it is mainly the pressure.

@@JustinKelly thanks for the answer. Do you notice any difference in sound/performance? I guess maybe you feel the turbo earlier?

I cannot tell a difference but then again you can tell a single digit horsepower bump in almost any car. You may see better fuel economy though if you track it before and after.

@@JustinKelly alright thanks, well it looks cool anyway! Is the elantra GT N Line more or less identical to the European i30 N Line?

Just curious if you noticed any difference from installing the aFe intake? I've seen big dyno claims, but also heard that the ECU will correct any changes eventually.
