@@phillipthomas3824 I purchased the Vicrez rims but bought tires separately. My tires are 305's all around (Atturo AZ850 from eBay). I highly recommend the 305 and would not put the 275. I do have minimal rubbing on bigger bumps and would recommend cutting just a little further (horizontally) on the cuts. The height of the cut was enough just a very tad bit more both left and right could have been cut to avoid the little rubbing I have here and there

I notice even factory chargers and challengers have that slight tire tuck into the fenders wearing more on the inner tire than the outer. May eventually get that addressed

I will be getting under to cut again eventually and will post another video of that process of how to cut once the kit is already mounted. I’ve been telling people to not be scared to cut more on the original project. Kit hides the cuts anyway👍🏽

I dont, apparently the kit was supposed to come with it mine just did not so I made do with some from auto zone. I've only had to pull a panel back a bit to add some tape in one section on the rear panel. Light rubbing here and there but overall it's in the same exact shape as it was the day I installed

Thank you! And sweet man, I haven't even heard of that kit yet. But as far as the side skirts, on the Vicrez kit, the flares have a flat step to make a fluid transition to the fender flare. Without the new rocker panel the fender flare sort of just hovers over the OEM flare and doesnt tie into the car at all. Other kits may look different but for the Vicrez kit this was the way to go to make it look more factory

@@Memogarcia2007 def. I have the 305's all around on the 20 x 11" rims. If your car is lowered you will rub tho, which is why the option is cut your fenders is the preferable one. If you cut enough and do it right the first time you wont have any issues and no regrets. I have minimal rubbing and its only when the roads are so bad it makes my suspension go down more than normal. And even then the rub is light, doesnt even mark the tires. That being said I will eventually cut a little more when I know the rub is happening

Thank you! No spacers! The rims purchased from Vicrez are offset on their own by -2.5mm which is how it's getting this stance I assume. Not just a normal 11 x 20 rim, but one with this offset. That rim mounted up with the 305's give it the factory look

She's sitting on H&R lowering springs. On any normal day it doesn't rub at all. I only get light rubbing with bad transitions in the roads, or bridges, or railroad crossing. Things like that. Already know how to solve it just havent gotten back under there yet.

If you have a charger that you are adding the widebody to, the wheels not only need to be 20 x 11 (all 4 wheels) but mainly the -2.5mm offset is whats important. This will give it the right stance and fitment

You must be a bit lower than I am. My car is on H&R lowering springs. With the cuts I made in the video, the car does not rub 98% of the time. I only get light rubs on bad roads and things like that. You should be able to cut more on both the car and the kit to eliminate the rubbing you are getting. Some guys bag these cars on these kits so I know its possible to get it to not rub for you

Thank you for the comment. But yes I have experienced some slight rubbing from time to time. The reason I didnt cut more (left and right, not up into the car) is because of the clip points on the mount. I wanted to make sure the fender flares were as secure as I could possibly get them while also cutting to have more room for the tire.

@@charliebernis177 I have seen a lot of recent talk about how these Vicrez body kits are not holding up and are actually coming undone due to hitting bumps or the suspension dipping down hard and this is the common talk I have seen recently suggesting not to go this route. Have you experienced any harsh outcomes since installing these on your car and if so could you explain what had to be done to accommodate fixes etc?

@@4doorsmorewhores630 I'd say that if you're not fully committed to potentially having issues then don't commit to this kit. I personally have not experienced any issues with mine except for the fact that it rubs from time to time. If you live somewhere where the city or state actually takes care of the roads, you will not have any issues with this kit giving trouble at all (granted you took the time to apply the kit with care). The only harsh thing I deal with is knowing I cut the actual body of this car 😂 but then I go look at it and I'm relieved again. Like I said though this has been my personal experience, and when I eventually sell this car I will be sure the next man knows what he's getting and how to fix any issues.

When you fit all 4 people do you scrape I’m having that issue even by myself when hitting dips. My wheels still hit the quarter in the rear.

I did have a car full of heavier people and did scrape for dips like youre talking about, but again only a light skim on the edge of the tire, nothing like a dig or anything. I've examined the tires after every scrape really just to make sure I didnt need to park it and address the issue asap. Cutting more is on my list to do though, which is why I have encouraged everyone who's asked to cut as much as possible since you're cutting anyway and the kit hides it. But yea now I see clearly where the rubbing is happening. Will make a vid when I cut more as I will be leaving the kit on while I do it

Because the widebody cars from the factory have the appropriate space considerations and the narrow bodies do not. I committed long before purchasing the kit that if I would do the widebody kit that I would cut the car so that the tires would not rub on the body. Basically, if the car is lowered, the tires would constantly rub on the kit and car without cutting.
