We do this for vietnamese pho noodle soup too. The meat is great with the soup when flavored and seasoned.

I had 2 tablespoons of my homemade apple cider vinegar. you need vinegar to pull the collagen out of the bones. And I use water and take all that grease spray paint put it in my bone broth so I can have the clean tallow when the bone broth is done. I don’t waste waste a darn thing.

You don’t need vinegar, I’ve done it plenty of times with plain water and it’s the most collagenous bone broth possible

How ironic~ I just finished some beef bone broth today also! =) This time I cooked mine down several times, over 2-3 days on the stove top (we're currently in the RV). I was looking at the meat, as it cooked down more & more & thought, hmmm~ maybe I'll eat it. I think meat this way has so much flavor because I continuously condensed the broth down to almost a beef syrup, added more water & did it again- adding a couple more shank bones each time. The meat was SO good! The bone broth is the best I've had yet. Just goes to show~ beef is where it's at, no matter how you cook it up! I had also saved a bunch of steak bones & tossed those in too for the last cook today. *Feeling super happy for your dog Paula~ lucky girl getting such treats💞

I’ve purchased standing rib roast that was on sale. Cut off the rib bones and cut into steaks. Wonder if the ribs would work good for bone broth. I do save my wing tips and rotisserie carcasses to make chicken bone broth. Delicious!! When I strain my broth I use a large strainer with cheese cloth and pour into an 8 cup measuring bowl then I pour into my jars.

I enjoy your videos so much. I purchased the air grill like you have. I would like to see a more detailed video on how to use it. I haven't used mine very much yet. Example once I'm finished cooking, I don't know how to turn it off other than unplugging it. The button is still lit up when cooking is complete. If I push the button (thinking I am turning it off) it starts up again. Am I missing something??? I have been pleased with it, but don't think I'm acquainted with it as well as I should be.

Put cooker on for long enough to cook the meat. Remove meat and then make the stock. Remove big bones BEFORE trying to pour. Much easier. If you are making 'broth' use veggies and herbs for flavour.

Would recommend pour/strain the broth into a larger container/bowl first. Then ladle or pour through a funnel into your jar. The whole nutbag endeavor is a bit harder & messy.
