The inner lid is the problem with instapot ultra. Broke off both plasick knobs and have a not working unit.The inner ring can't be changed and eventually you have to buy a new lid. But parts for this model are almost not existing on ebay or amazone.

In the ultimate lid model, do you need to switch out the pressure lid inner cover panel to use it between the two modes airfryer and pressure cooking? or can both inserts be permanently left on no matter the cooling mode.

Air fryer lid with the heating element is permanently attached to the pot, can't be removed. While pressure cooking or any setting that requires pressure cooking, pressure cooker lid has to be attached on top of the air fryer lid. I've demonstrated both air frying & pressure cooking modes, do watch the cooking part @6:28

The chicken in the ultimate lid cooker cooked longer as it had the 5 minute warm up as well as the 25 minute cooking time. That may be why it was a little drier.

I tried it tonight.Excellent like an expensive minestrone.Next week I will put chopped spaghetti in and see how that works.Just to say thanks again.Top chef.
