Great game! Both teams had "What?" moments but the rest was hard fought. The major deciding factor was your guys pass rush. JD5's super power is avoiding the rush but your Edge guys had him corral-ed and hurried.

Accountability is one thing, a constant PROBLEM is another. St.Juiste NEVER looks back at all for the ball; mostly because he always gets burned, but if you never look back you should be able to be side by side with the WR.

We lost this game bc of dropped passes, Jayden missing several throws, a muffed punt from OZ that led to one of their TD's and several penalties that stalled drives for us and gave them fresh downs which they capitalized on.....we have a lot of work to do before Thursday

I thought it was well explained why he was short of the line of gain, he may have caught it at the line of gain but his own momentum took him back his knee hit the ground and he was downed without the ball crossing the line of gain. Forward progress doesn’t apply here because he took himself back to being short of the line not the defender.

We drove it 75 yards in 2 minutes because we targeted Terry. Then, on the last 2 drives of the game he is basically just running cardio. I understand he gets double teamed.... PUT HIM IN MOTION!!! Kliff needs to figure this out, because we still don't have a #2 WR, and a dinosaur of a TE that can't run after the catch.

There is enough blame to go around, and several players contributed to the loss. Muffed punts, dropped passes, lapses in coverage, and a few really bad officiating calls. That 4th down spot at the end was absolutely ATROCIOUS. That was a 1st down, hands down, and that was really the difference at the end. A bad no call on a fumble and a face mask? Atrocious. Officiating is hard, and they typically do a remarkable job overall, but sometimes you just scratch your head, and wonder how some of these calls are blown, when they have a freaking instant replay? This is why some people think these games are rigged …. you can argue whether or not the first down was made, but there is no doubt at all that the ball was poorly spotted, and you can see it plain as day. After the replay review, that spot should have been advanced, PERIOD.

This loss means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Will still win the division, and now Philly has to face a Washington team coming off a loss they should have won. Should get some of our injured starters back by Thursday. I was upset about this for literally 5 minutes, but it ultimately doesn't matter at all

Other then Terry who is a beast. The rest of their receivers including Ertz blows. They had 5 massive drops. Drops that go right thru Ertz and McCaffreys hands then hits their face mask. Jayden missed a few throws and was not his best. But to beat good teams we need someone in addition to Terry.

They get this every single week when the opposing offfense is near the goal line. This game showed me that Washington can compete with and beat every team in the NFL. If the receivers catch the ball, they dominate Chicago, easily beat the Giants, and would have beaten the Steelers today. Bring in Lattimore and sit St. Juste and watch this defense go up a level or two. This team is nice and right at the door now.

Go look how that should have been holding on TJ Watt #90 and a safety on Commanders at the end. Warren fumbled on the 1 and thought his fwd progress ended but whatever...and yall lucky for that. Officiating was bad on both sidw btw but that was a stop on fourth. I know it sucks to lose but the Commanders showed they can play with a team with a great record and playmakers all around. Y'all going to the playoffs this year most likely. That was our toughest game So far. Be proud of their performance.

Washington had multiple opportunities to win this game, and there is plenty of blame to go around. But as far as the refs go, to Craig’s point, it’s inexcusable in 2024 not to have better systems in place. In terms of spotting the football. We now have space rockets that can self-land in the exact spot as expected, for Christ's sake. In the Olympics, they have sensors that measure when runners cross the finish line, which is accurate to 1/10,000 of a second. Why not use this? Would we consider it acceptable if architects just used their eyes to measure when constructing a building? The NFL is a multi-billion dollar company, and they’re still using old men running seven yards behind the play as the source for spotting the football. Think how backward this is, given all the available technology. If the league is going to use this replay assist tool, then freaking use it for everything, or dump it altogether. It can’t be used arbitrarily. Why can it be used for calling an illegal man downfield that has nothing to do with the play but not used when a dude grabs our guy's face mask and pulls him to the ground? These two examples take the same amount of time to evaluate by replay. Under this thinking, you wipe out a TD pass in one game because our guy was a half-yard too far downfield (Bears game, I think) but not use it for an obvious face mask call that’s a 15-yard penalty? You can’t have an effective process if something is so punitive in one instance (taking away a TD) but isn’t even considered in another that’s equally important to the outcome of the game. I’m giving examples of how we got screwed, but this is true for every NFL team. This replay assist is not a holistic solution.
