Kinda surprising that with how many addons for Create there are, none seem to add a way to store rotational energy, say, with a torsion spring or something to that extent. There are a couple of mods that do away with this through converting SU to FE and back to SU (usually with a loss in efficiency), but never a purely mechanical solution, which I feel is a tad weird, considering the idea has been thrown around for quite some time now. While I don't think su storage is a great idea for the base mod, I fully support a add on mod adding it in! I think it's a great idea

@@polartt Agreed, base mod doesn't really have a need for that, considering how ubiquitous energy generation methods are. I suppose it would make more sense to have some sort of energy storage on mobile contraptions once Create: Simulated comes around, but whether or not it will be feasible is still up for interpretation, considering we know next to nothing what our options might be in, say, Aeronautics or Liftoff.

@@polartt I am honestly surprised there isn't a counterweight in create to make working doors easier or anything that can move back-and-forth easier for that matter. They could probably make them easy by just using anvils as a counterweight maybe even iron or steel blocks to give them a use.

imho the teleports (just like waystones and maybe jetpacks) kills whole point of trains and train-related travel people was so excited about addition of trains in v.0.5 and now instead of building beautiful train-themed infrastructure to connect different parts of their worlds, they just add reskinned Waystones (or portals if you will)

This is exactly my philosophy while working on my Create Modpack, added tons of addon mods and end up removing half the content to promote trains as much as possible. Removing the Elytra has shown to be a great way to promote horse and train travel which is some content many players never even use.

Loved the video @polartt! Can't wait for the next video man! How large can you build the Custom Portal in this mod? Because I'm thinking that This might be the way to go and build a Stargate in Modded Minecraft, and just Have mechanical Arms add in the Destination Coordinates depending upon where you want to go. I've got an Interesting idea, Using the Create Mods and the Valkyrien Skies Mods, You and several other Minecraft Community KZbinr's and VTubers (Indie and/or Corpo) will each invite up to 48 of your Fans and Subscribers for some Interstellar Fun with Create and Valkyrien Skies! Build Spaceships to venture out into the Galaxy and Explore various Planets, Moons and all things Interstellar! I'd recommend building an Arquitens-class Light Cruiser and about 3 Corellian CR 90 Corvettes from Star Wars just in case you get attacked. If you need some Starfighters to Scout and Protect the Force, I'd also recommend the Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-wing Starfighters from Star Wars as well. You might be able to get 2 or 3 of them in the Hangar Bay of the Arquitens, 4 if you're Lucky. Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man!

I was really interested in an actually balanced mod, but I was disappointed that the receiver doesn't need the telejuice. I don't want to teleport wherever I want, I want to be limited to areas I've built up enough to sustain a receiver.

If you are using them for logistics, then the Teleporter and reciever would need to be close together anyway because Create machines don't work when unloaded. If you are using them for travel, then you'd need another teleporter on the other side to send you back. For all practical applications, the reciever would be relatively nearby a teleporter and therefore have access to telejuice. All making it require telejuice to operate would do is make using the mod for logistics much more annoying. The only time that this wouldn't be the case is if you have a chunk loader to force two factories a significant distance apart to both be loaded. But then you would have to either go there yourself to retrieve the items, or teleport them to your main base. At the end of the day, Telejuice is literally only there to lock the mod to after you've gone to the outer end islands, and isn't all that difficult to produce. Making the receiver require it wouldn't make the mod require substantially more setup, it would just make it more finicky and annoying.

I think create utilities and the void motor there allows wireless transmission of kinetic energy but i dont know if that works via dimensions

ok, so imagine this, an addon for this addon, or a different addon for Create mod: Create: Stargate mod. You could build your own functional stargate, have the whole animation shabang, get a dialer (DHD), power it with naquadah via tubes, build a functional iris. Heck, you can then add dimensions from the series, even have "raid"-like events where enemies attack from the stargate or by ship (possible addon for clockwork, who knows). And all of it fully integrated with create mod similar to this mod.

the only thing i dislike is how insanely dark the Pocket Dimension is. It's basically the Compact Machine mod, but much harder to see. It just seems annoying and doesn't really add anything to it.
