I have learned to accept the fact that I am my cats "Master". They do certain things that notify me that its time to play, feed or get scritches. I always give in because without them I would be lonely. I have 3. 2 of them are pretty independent however 1 sleeps by my head and constantly kneads "makes biscuits", rubs his head against mine and puts me to sleep with purring.

Cats are truly amazing creatures. My cat kneads my head when I have a sick migraine headache. She seems to know exactly when I feel real bad with those debilitating headaches. Her paw kneading really does help with my pain .

@@ciaramccorley Hello. I had congestive heart failure and a stroke because of high blood pressure and a quack dictir who changed my medicine. One bad pill caused me a stroke. Thank goodness I'm still alive but have recovered. I am disabled now but still alive with some impairments. Eat healthier with lemon/garlic, black pepper salt substitute spices instead of salt and sodium. It is amazing how many Americans have high blood pressure the silent killer.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and my knees and shoulders are very warm. My two girls sleep, one between my knees and the other up by my shoulder. A few years ago I broke my leg and my boy, who since has passed, took turns with my leg girl, wrapping around my broken leg, purring loudly. I was in hospital 6 days and went back a week after I came home for a followup ex ray. The surgeon couldn't find the break on th x ray and had to call up the original picture to see where the break had been. He had inserted a titanium rod in the tibia bone and secured it with 6 pins. I believe that my cat therapy accelerated the healing in the bone.

laser light is NOT the best but literally the WORSE thing you can get them, its like fooling the cat, letting it hunt something it can never catch, this can make a cat depressed. NEVER NEVER DONT EVER USE A LASER LIGHT TO ENTERTAIN YOUR CAT! JUST DONT! stop being a lazy human, get some quality toys, get out of your seat and play with your cat! I swear, and this might sound peculiar but mine does recognize her reflection in the mirror. She did not the first couple of times when she was a kitten but she deffo knows now. I know cats shouldn’t be able to so I find it odd but I’m also proud of my smart cat ❤ (she’s 7 btw and my home is indeed full of mirrors)

As far as cat grass is concerned, just like humans get their gut bacteria from leafy greens, cats get their gut bacteria from grass and the nippy. Indoor kittys don't ever get it and considering the chemicals in tap water kill gut bacteria they really need it. Grow grass and nippy year round in organic living soil under artificial lights. My kitty will vouch for it too. Y'all welcome.

One day in the Sunday morning I did see a cat running across the street to the neighbors backyard coming back fast. 4 weeks after around midnight I did see people walking their dogs walking on a sidewalk...a fat rabbit ran from the same house across the street. Question: was the cat trying to make friends with a rabbit there or she was hungry looking just 2 eat the rabbit? ❤❤

What a curious observation! It's hard to say for certain, as cats can be quite unpredictable in their behaviors. While cats are natural hunters and might be interested in a rabbit as prey, they can also sometimes just be curious about other animals without any intention of hunting them. But considering the cat's quick return, it might have been more about curiosity than hunger. Still, it's always fascinating to ponder what goes on in the minds of our feline friends! ❤🐾🐱🐇

I talk to my kitty a lot and she recognizes her name (she's four months old and I've had her nearly all that time...she & her littermates were born in some friends' yard up the street and she chose me and her littermates are barn cats). I don't think I could get her to stay still long enough for a massage, lol, but I'll try. She's beginning to like chin rubs a bit tho' she's still in the "chew on the hooman" phase. I'm making some play areas in cardboard boxes; one has a tunnel made out of an oatmeal carton :).
