I like the feminine word "fun-loving" as in I'm a fun-loving wife, fun-loving mom, fun-loving engineer... that feels better than BOSS.

My words for this year are: delicate & nurturing 🌸 growing up I was always shamed for being the girly girl, and so throughout my teen years I rebelled against femininity even to the point of thinking I was transgender. But over the passed two years I’ve been trying to rediscover my inner femininity and it’s been a process. Thank you so much for this video💗💕 much love, Haley

I'm so sorry that you went through that shame ❤️. I think what you went through it so common nowadays. I love your choice of words for 2020 :)❤️

Cynthia, you have tapped into something that I have felt for so long and only just vocalized in public recently. I am a laid back person who prefers a quieter, more peaceful lifestyle. I am very turned off by the “hustle” culture and I find that people think of me as less of a woman because I’m not trying to be a “boss b-“...Thank you for addressing this!! Anyway, a resolution I made was to ditch the leggings and jeans. I feel so much more polished and feminine in slacks or a skirt. We are 9 days into 2019 and I haven’t worn leggings yet!

I would absolutely love a video or even a series on your faith and how that works in your marriage and what that may look like as your family grows. I'm a Christian but I haven't seen many Christian marriages and I definitely relate to you a lot!

Being a feminine woman is a struggle nowadays! Especially as a teacher I need to constantly remind myself to keep my composure and to react with class and dignity even to the rudest kids. Jesus is the only way to thrive and receive help as a feminine woman. Thank you I loooove your tips , some I didn't even know about :)

sarahde simon there’s a saying that goes something like: “if you’re thinking about the quality of your teaching, you’re already an excellent teacher!” 😊💕 Also, you’re right about Jesus. Thank you for commenting 😊🌸

I loved this video! I'm already a pretty feminine woman but at times, in this world we live in, I can begin to feel a bit of masculinity creeping in. It's these times I have to refocus and get back to my femininity do this video was helpful. I took the quiz and I'm a bear. In the past I was constantly negative. The Lord really helped me out of that horrible cycle and now I rarely find anything negative to think about. As far as hobbies go I make jewelry, paint, sing in our church choir, and (much to my kids dismay) I frequently dance in the kitchen!😂 My beauty routine is probably my weakest area. But I'll definitely be making an effort to add that one thing. Thank you for the encouragement! Decluttering was one of the first things I did to start the new year. Decluttering my closet is my favorite part. I make notes of what needs to be replaced and what clothing items I would like to look for in the coming year. I don't rearrange my furniture much BUT I do move the furniture to vacuum under everything at least twice a year. I love the idea of upgrading your underwear! I feel extra feminine and put together if my underwear matches my outfit! I have one perfume currently but once it's gone I'm not sure what to get because the store I bought it from no longer carries it. My feminine uniform is a more fitted top with a fuller skirt or a fit and flare dress. I love it so much! A dear friend of mine once told me that I was the most free spirited person they had met. I decided to live in that word for the rest of that year and it was so wonderful! My feminine word for 2020 is either going to be "international" or "mindful". Thank you for such a great video!❤

Hi Cynthia I'm new to your channel and I'm so glad this kind of community exists! My word for 2020 is peace. Peace for myself and spreading peace around my life to others. My favorite hobby is knitting :) last year my goal was to learn how to knit socks (which I did!) And this year I want to learn how to knit a sweater. I loved all your tips. Happy New Year! 💙💜💙💜

Also enjoying your older videos, great insight and structure in your delivery. Thanks for helping identify the challenges to better manage them among all the noise!

You seem to be an incredibly lovely person, I love listening to you ! I do not have an older sister so I guess that I consider you as mine, hehe. Also : you look so cute with these curls and you have such a beautiful smile ! I have the same uniform as you ! I'm quite petite (5'3 or 160 cm) and thin but as long as the skirt is fitted just under my ribcage, I can wear longer or shorter skirts and dresses. My go-to outfit is a long skirt with a turtleneck I agree with matching undergarments ! It changed my life, hehe. Also, even though I'm quite young (is 22 " quite young " ?), I've loved Chanel n°5 for years, since high school I think. So I bought myself a bottle of their eau de toilette after Christmas and I love it so much, it's my favourite material thing I own. I do not think that I smell like a grandmother despite having only smelt it on older women. I finally have a signature scent and it makes me feel so good. I used to be the kind of person to regularly change perfumes because even though I liked them a lot, they didn't feel right. Chanel n°5 is me. Lots of love to you, Andrea (from France)
@CynthiaL5 жыл бұрын
Andrea, you are so sweet 💕💕! I love channel n5 - it is one of my go-to scents! I know what you mean, that many older women wear it as well - I like to think this is because it is classic! I too think a high-waisted skirt and a turtleneck looks so lovely! :)

Well done!!! I totally didn’t mind any of the background noise! I’m always wondering how other you tubers manage to have silence! But this is real life! The life of managing a household!!! I think my word for 2020 is gong to be: Grace. I want to be more graceful in what I do but also in how I handle my emotions and other people. Especially other people who might require a bit more patience than some! LOL. I had a very tumultuous 2019 when it came to emotions and friendships, so I am hoping I can learn from that whole experience, grow, heal, and replace feelings of resentment with Grace and Forgiveness!!!

I took the quiz for the chronotype! It was interesting. I have never heard of it before. Turns out I'm a dolphin as well lol! I frequently rearrange my nest! Usually every season. I love the tip about the matching undergarments. Its something I started doing a few years ago that made me feel more put together. To keep it easy, I stick with neutral tones (whites, nudes, and black). I do have some colors, but mostly neutrals in that department. Also, the hustle mentality/boss babe mentality has never been something that sounded or felt natural. My feminine word for 2020 is graceful.
@CynthiaL5 жыл бұрын
I also stick to neutral tones - game changer! No more of those neon prints from VS lol! I'm not surprised you are a dolphin - I think we are similar in various ways friend :). You're right, the bossbabe mentality never quite sat right with me either. I love your classic word choice ❤️
