This was a fun video to watch! I just complimented a man at a concert and he told me later that it felt good because men aren’t used to being told they look nice. I turned around from the bar and he was standing there and I told him “wow, you’re really handsome…” he said “thank you, you look nice too.” I kept walking cause I really wasn’t flirting with him. 😂 I saw him later that night and smiled. He came over and we ended up exchanging numbers. He said the compliment was nice, but he didn’t think I was interested. He said men really need to feel “safe” to approach a woman. So when I saw him again and I smiled, he said that was enough for him to talk to me. It was an interesting exchange and this video validates what I heard from him.

I’ve noticed when I compliment anyone in a fun way, people really like it. For example, if I’m loving a shoe a sista is wearing, I’ll say “ok, pointy toe! Cmon with the pointy toe, yaaasss!” If I love a man’s beard, I might say, “Cmon, beard game! Yaassss sir yaaasss! Cmon with the beard, though!” People tend to laugh and want to speak conversation. And I’m an introvert! But I’m a funny person, too, so it feels more natural to speak convo in a funny way or else I wanna hide at all cost and be alone 😂😂. Let’s be ourselves, lighten up, and enjoy meeting people.

It's true that hanging out at a place by yourself might bring out more assertive attention. I'd go by myself to coffee shops to work on my master's thesis (I liked the ambience and natural white noise). I was approached by a lot of men despite being and looking very busy, though at the time I was a little annoyed with the attention -- "Can't he see that I'm working on something??" 😂 It's unfortunate though that it's how I now struggle to be able to smile at men, as I gained a stalker at one of these coffee shops just by smiling back at him in greeting, not in flirtation. So, it looks like I'm going to need to work on this piece of Stephan's advice and not show my attraction through a grimace...

I grew up thinking that I was crossing a line looking at a man straight on for three seconds or more, like it was too forward and too bold for a lady. I grew up in the 70's/80's. Things that worked for me were rather happenstances. Having a long friendship with my husband's best friend, now my husband who was a bachelor and then losing my husband was what gave me my third, blessed Charm. I was just being myself as a friend, and then my now husband and I finally connected from our past friendship.

What a great video! Thank you! I have been looking for this advice for so long, especially from a man. It makes sense to me. It was very helpful because these are casual easy moves and you explained how men don’t always know if a woman is interested and rarely get compliments. My biggest fear is being perceived as desperate, but these are very low stakes things that generally just make you more positive and social and friendly in general. It was so nice to hear it’s not desperate to flirt in these subtle , but kind ways. What’s the worst that could happen? Men get rejected everyday! As you said, at least the guy may like the attention and even be interested, but be with someone. I think I have had a past of being rejected by egotistical and mean men. But I look back, and they had problems themselves. At the very least I make the man feel nice he may be wanted! No shame if I feel I look good and feel good and am confident. Then, I just means we weren’t meant to be 😊 in the past I wasn’t healthy and confident. I am now. I don’t have to be perfect, just feel really great and be on my journey of continually being positive and being healthy.

I work as a blackjack dealer, at a casino. Flirting with my players really helps boost the tips that I receive. I have a genuine crush on one of my regular players who happens to be significantly younger than me and a professional athlete. We have a great rapport when we talk. He tips me better than he tips any of the other dealers (trust me, we all talk). One of my supervisors has even referred to him as my boyfriend (we've never spoken outside the casino). How do I let him know without "chasing" him that I have a genuine interest in him?

Does anyone have any tips on holding eye contact? When i find a man attractive (ie in the gym), I see them look at me and I’m soooo nervous by how attractive they are so i don’t even look at them. 😣 I would say I’m confident. I’m 25. I get lots of compliments from men generally and even in the gym too. I’m there 5 days a week and I eat healthy. I would rate myself a 7.5/10 on looks. But when I see men that are like an 8.5 and they’re checking me out, I get nervous. Edit: I finished the video and will take the advice Stefan gives and that is to practice holding eye contact with men for 3 seconds minimum. So that by the time I get to the men I am interested in, I will be used to it and I can hold eye contact easily. Xx

Well beauty is in the eye of the beholder...so you can be a 9 in the right person's eyes. As far as holding eye contact, I have No Idea. That part is Not for me. I'm not with that. I don't do the staring sh*t. But thats just me. But I would suggest just try to make yourself kinda available...but not too available, if u know what I mean. Give an availability for that person that Wants to holla to holla. If they don't, then you know they either are not interested/taken/or not worth it. That's my only tips to you. Hope it works out for you ma. Later.

I have to disagree with complimenting a man on his appearance. My friends do this all the time and it does make them look desperate. Ohh dear. Thanks for this but the guy I like is seems overly careful. He’s there for me. Used his track to get stuff in marketplace. He’s eyes on me all the time. Gosh! We talk a lot and then all we end that he is being nice. Why a guy can’t say he likes you???

One time when I wanted to take a check from the ATM, I noticed that there was a spider web and a big spider inside. I froze. Finally, I turned to the young man behind me and asked if he would hand me the check because there was a spider. He did and looked very surprised as I thanked him and left. He probably thought I was trying to hit on him.😁

I Still approach women nowadays...but yes, most of the women do make it very hard for us good men to keep hollerin at them...cause how they treat us when we do. Women Knows that the players and losers/users holla at them much more than us. Of course its up to them to vet good to decipher who from who. But anyway...they say we should holla more. We do...but then most out here being disrespectful to us when we come to them with respect...and their homegirl standing next to them dont even immediately check them or care...which make them eqally as bad as them. FR So yeah, I sympathize with fellow good brothers. It will stop me for a little bit...but then I reset and recover. And if I see a lady that im very attracted to, I Will Still holla no matter what. But those stings from those women make u extra extra nervous hollerin and approaching. But it is what it is.

If yall care about approaching women & dating, y'all would attend the events that are *actually created for dating.* They are over-saturated with women, which makes it a great investment.
@jayc57568 ай бұрын
@@Heyu7her3 I'm pretty sure we don't know about these events. So let us know. What type of events? You mean like speed dating or something like that?
@irinaivanovic97928 ай бұрын
You said “most out here,” not ALL. So why didn’t you take things further or get involved with one of those women who did not give you a hard time, and didn’t think you were a so called player?? You only need 1 woman, right?
@jayc57568 ай бұрын
@@irinaivanovic9792 Is this a serious question?? Just cause you start to talk, doesn't mean it will always go somewhere. Just cause you get their number, doesn't mean they will answer either. That happens a lot as well. And just cause...well if yall happen to make it to the dating stage, that doesn't necessarily mean you will connect with that person.
