I always enjoy your videos Jim. I like to hunt but love to shoot at stumps and targets. Thanks for making archery fun for us all. I started shooting at ten years old with a title Bear recurve and I bought my arrows at the hardware store for a dollar each. When I hit the woods I was free. Haven't lost that feeling for 43 years. Keep up the good work my friend , John Sisney from Ethel, Ms USA

Hey Jim another great video good to see you getting back at it, i wanted to say thank you as your videos over the years were actually the reason i even picked up archery at all having come from ice hockey like yourself i had a hole to fill and so far its been great. Unfortunately i missed you at the event you were running at archery fit due to a holiday. I have been wanting to ask for a while me and some friends want to do a bit of an archery retreat and i was wondering where is it you guys get off to for The gathering in 2018 it looks beautiful and we would all like to go an experience that for ourselves! Thanks for all your inspiration and for sharing the joy that is archery with me and my friends!

Good to see another video. I'm shooting at 35lbs. Wondering, you mentioned the spine of the arrow. Can you recommend some? Or I guess I could search for a video that you probably have. I have arrows that are probably deemed as crap, but they are the Cabela's Carbon Arrows, Stalker Xtreme 45-60, standard diameter, weight 2gr Btw, the "run" around 7:15 was funny...for some reason I figure if there was a bigfoot, that's how he'd go. Lol 🐟Super cool fish target idea, minus the rocks😬
@QuentinSingvogel5 жыл бұрын
Jim has had a great video on "bare shaft tuning" your arrows, to come up with the right spine and length of your arrows. Just search for the terms in the quotation marks to find it, It's quite old, but it has helped me out a LOT! So invest a little more in good quality shafts and take your time tuning them right, you won't get disappointed, trust me!

Awesome video and you are right, that is what archery is really about. I do have a question though: It seems that you are using the "Solution" from time to time. Being English and not Norwegian, do you find that by using it, you arrows tend to fly more to the left?
