Definitely the most important, eyes opening seminar available out there for free. "Accept fact as a fact"... He clearly opened my mind and helped me thinking in a bigger picture. From 34min have realised that my family is the same. They all think they own the house on mortgage and so pompous about it! And crying for other people about how cash flow poor they are! Their aim is to take on as much debt as they just can. Their whole life is based on debt! Stay away from similar mentality people otherwise you will end up in a big shit like them. Capitalism is great if you live in a first world country and can make money (in terms of just living standards at least), but a bit shit if you're a kid being forced into one of these asian gulags, working with dangerous raw materials or equipment, or if you live in places where the first world literally uses you as a giant rubbish bin. Capitalism is by far the most efficient for growth - totally unparalleled, but that doesn't mean life is necessarily better for the majority of the world's population. You could pump billions of dollars into Africa or other poor countries like Bill Gates does, but someplace has to be the world's junkyard. Maybe I'm wrong and all of our problems will be sorted in our hyper-technological eco-future that's supposedly on the way.

Very good stuff again! There were, are and ever will be only 2 "secrets" about successful trading: 1) you need to HAVE AN EDGE in the market - meaning higher chance for winning than losing (risk reward ratio does not matter). A good method can be taught by a good educator/mentor/friend trader 2) you need to MANAGE RISK (take profits, cut losses, size properly). It's not what you win, it's what you don't lose. It determines how much money remains on your account by the end of week, month, year Tested. Proven.

Exactly... it's about "control". In the states, we have a 30 year fixed mortgage. That means the principal and interest payments never change for the entire life of the loan. Meanwhile, landlords can (and should) increase their rent every year. Who has the most control in that situation?

Very great video I paused at 58:09 i will continue the rest tomorrow morning. But i just want to touch basis with something he said about the school system & losing parents. This is a huge factor in today's society which leaves children that " are naturally smart & aware" in a cess pool of 98% of dummies, if it's their parents, peers, or school teachers. The system is designed to degrade a child's awareness to the world of capitalism & basically a way out of the rat race. Don't take anyone's advice who continuously loses, and has nothing to show for over a period of years. Seek alternative education. It's convenience that destroys a child's ability to have awareness & intellect. Convenience. Great video Anton, cant wait to finish this video & re listen. Blessings
@ForgottenKnight16 жыл бұрын
The system is wrong because it makes you identify with the majority. If the majority is dumber than you, you're fucked. This is why he is underlining alternative education a lot. Alternative education means any type of education that meets your needs and objectives and is outside of the government curriculum.

Fantastic point regarding mortgages and freedom. I've been trying to tell my friends about this for ages, a lot of them who have been foolish enough to disagree with me. There is a reason it is called a mortgage. "Mort" means death (Latin). A mortgage is a payment until death. You pay until you are dead.

This man speaks my language, iv been blessed with good natural instincts because when everyone told me I had to start putting money in a pension fund my gut was telling me no, and when everyone told me I should invest in a house, the thought of tying myself down with such a huge weight totally dissuaded me.

Singapore is too hot and humid for me. I live in Switzerland for four years now. The weather is better ! And you can hike in the summer and hang around on the ski resorts in the winter ! Before that I lived in Japan for 28 years. Good place but very humid in the summer. And taxes are high ! Good thing in Switzerland : if you own stock, no taxes on capital appreciation. But for the rest I agree with you 100%. People should tend to be able to live from passive income.

I left the UK three years ago when I was 23. I moved to Panama with my American Girlfriend. I went back to the UK this year to visit families, who are still talking bollocks about politics and struggling to meet monthly commitments having had mortgages, 'good jobs' and lamenting about the Great British way of life. I should also point out most of my family have never traveled beyond the odd package holiday. If you want to get ahead.....get on a plane! Thankfully, I had a relative who like Anton, knows what happens elsewhere in the World and understands the narratives forced onto people from an early age. I have passive incomes from some of the very things mentioned here such as REIT's and high interest compounded investments
@aceent51455 жыл бұрын
What investments beside REIT would you recommend to explore? btw how's life in Panama so far, you plan to relocate anywhere soon?

This guy is absolute gold. Gold! I've listened to alot of people, but this guy is so refreshing, so much truth and it's fairly simple. I made the decision this year to study economics and i freaking love it. Anyways, out of everything I've learned from Anton so far, is to think outside the box. I've realized now how i am literally just.following the path of everybody else, and thinking the same train of thoughts. From now on, instead of just learning and memorizing I'm going to think a little bit more creatively, and really try to analyze what I'm learning. It's so easy to just read a book and say "oh well I read this ans this is what i learned" ok but how can i apply it to my life and world? I'm going to be thinking a little bit more differently from now on. Gold gold gold. Thanks Anton 👌

I started watching this a year ago and I haven't stopped, I have it on loop and my mother is delivering my meals underneath the door. I received some blue tooth headphones though so now I can walk around the house. I am still listening to it as I type this. I have fallen asleep while listening to it. I will never stop listening to this, ever.
