Good video. I drained the transmission oil by removing the drain plug, and while under there also conveniently drained the engine oil and changed the engine oil filter, but otherwise the same procedure. But do you actually flush the transmission every 30000 kms or one year, whichever comes first? I've settled with 60000 kms with no time limit (yet).

@@VNAV_PTH thanks. Yeah every 30 000 km or one year since I have a gasoline model's transmission (weaker) in my diesel model so it gets dirty sooner.

I’ve a 2003 2.4 petrol auto, can’t find anything about transmission filter change on these ? Help please ( many thanks in advance)

@@topbonnet8122 the filter is deep inside the bell housing. If you want to replace it, you have to remove the transmission and open it. But if you're suspecting a blockage in the filter, you can try to unclog it with pressurized air.

@@SymbiosisSerahow would you do that?

@@outdoorflowsports detach the transmission cooling line from the top of the radiator and push pressurized air from there.

There's a good thread about it here (TF-80SC but the logic applies to AW55-50SN): www.swedespeed.com/threads/aisin-tf-80sc-transmission-oil-change.410313/page-2
