Here are two of my favorite songs to play on acoustic.
The first is my all time favorite acoustic song, "Presbyterian Guitar", by John Hartford, from his album, Aereo-Plain.
The second song is "Mellowing", by my band, All Them Witches, from our album Dying Surfer Meets His Maker.
I am playing a Martin SPD-16K2 dreadnought. It is mic'd with a Shure SM7b, into an Audient iD22, then running into ProTools. I am using the Waves CLA-2A and the Waves C4 multi-band compressor. I also used Altiverb on a spring reverb setting.
No additional EQ was used.

Mellowing has to be one of my favourite ATW tunes. Please post the chords or do a full tutorial vid of how to play this song. Just getting the hang of finger picking (having always used a pick before) after learning Blood and Sand from one of your other videos. Cheers
