Can you explain the connection between the tain and the ceis?

Hi , yes. Tain is used to trigger Ceis , because Tain is in latch mode it stays high untill pressed again , so the envelope stays high untill u press again. Hope this makes sence!

I think the importance is tuning the Saich oscillator , then it sounds great with Harmonaig , altho Harmonaig does lack a bit of precision at times yes

@@ske1111 yeah it doesn't go a full octave if I remember well but it shouldn't be seen as a regular quantiser in my opinion , it is very inviting to modulate it and get happy accidents out of it , it has its limitations but a very creative tool

@@endless_arps yeah i read that...how about the interaction with the envelope and the module to its right which you manually trigger?

@@boyratty5612 Aah ok , that is simply me triggering the ceis envelope with a Tain switch. It latches , so the envelope stays high untill I press the tain switch again. The resulting cv out of the ceis goes into the Harmonaig quantiser and this way provides Saich of pitch value cv. So it kinda works as a sequencer. Hope this is making sence?!

@@boyratty5612 This is definitly a creative way to use a switch. There is many ways to use a switch , also to move up an octave it can be a lot of fun.
