I’ve never met Sam Heughan, but he seems like a down-to-earth guy. Diana recently said in interviews that he-and Tobias Menzies- were the only two actors that wanted to talk to her about their character’s backgrounds. Reading the books and then seeing the little character choices he makes as Jamie Fraser shows how seriously he takes his craft. Also, about a year ago someone offered me coffee and then brought out the instant coffee jar … I was so confused! I don’t even know they made that awful stuff anymore!

Oh my gosh. What a beautiful sole Sam has, both as himself and as Jamie. His smile just lights up the room and I've heard that Sam donates his time etc to various causes. I'm old enough to be Sam's mother, but just can't wait to see him in Outlander wearing his kilt (which all good Scots do), and luckily he has the body to carry it off as well.
