@@IanJones942 I really hope when this becomes an inevitability that they keep those in 🤣. That and her random tangents. "Hmmm well I dunno if I liked that passage, but here we are, we made a promise, and we're going to finish this thing. Tell me what you thought! Can you do that? Can I get your impressions somewhere? Probably not. Ok, moving on. Let's hope this next bit's better."

To say I adore this woman is a gross understatement. I admire her, she's an icon, an inspiration, a comedic genius, she has the best voice of all time and her accent is perfect. I don't know if I want to be her or be her best friend. Or marry her. Natasha Lyonne is a LIFESTYLE.

Love Natasha for making Hollywood cool and unattainable again. No really, I love watching these things and know I could never answer these questions in such a natural and thoughtful way. She’s such a casual genius.
@ThemedNumber022 жыл бұрын
In addition to natural talent, she’s spent a long time in the industry studying and honing her craft. That could be a reason why she speaks so eloquent yet colloquial. Her persona is very personable!

Just discovered Natasha Lyonne even though she’s been around for years. Started with Poker Face, then binged Russian Doll. Now I’ve got to watch Orange Is The New Black! I’m a big Zelda fan. I played all the versions starting with Nintendo 64. Also Game Boys and had to get every single item. I have the latest version on the Switch but my reflexes have slowed down and I’m stuck with the Zoras.

I love love her! Just finished watching season two of Russian doll, it was so good!!
@orion88352 жыл бұрын
Always been a fan and so glad she has remerged as a performer in a more central role. Long live the Jewish character actor. Lyonne has cemented her position with “Russian Doll” a work of outstanding existentialism and true comedy. We may have lost Joan Rivers but Lyonne is a great performer in a more philosophical NYC true grit comedienne style. Fans wait with bated breathe for her next star turn.

I love her accent, I'm a born and raised New Yorker and she grew up in Manhattan and they usually have no accents and all the other boroughs would make fun of them b/c they always sounded like they were from like Ohio while we sounded like the New Yorkers (Brooklyn, Bronx, queens, Staten Island), hell, even a Jersey accent sounds more like a New York accent than Manhattan. So I'm pretty sure our Gal Natasha has a Madonna thing where her accent isn't real but she adds to it to give it layers and to make herslef sound funnier than normally would and it works for her. She is so hysterical.
@nspector2 жыл бұрын
Mm, I'm guessing it's real. She grew up an Orthodox Jew, went to an Orthodox school as a kid and you can hear that in her accent, the New York/Yiddish inflection. She also lived in Great Neck the first eight years of her life, and then there was a year in Israel before Manhattan. I'm from NY too, so I know what you're talking about with kids from Manhattan not having a New York accent, but I think hers is real.

Love listening to her thoughts. She is an unapologetic intellectual and that is goals. Also, I would love to see a conversation between her and Jeff Goldblum. It would take forever for either to get their complete thought out, but the gravelly/vocal fry pauses and unique intellectual perspectives would be a hoot.

Natasha Lyonne, is my favorite. Mentions the desert, when talking about the pandemic, and I immediately thought of Leonardo DiCaprio, playing Howard Hughes, in "The Aviator", looking at a film reel of the desert, and talking about how "it's hot, but it's clean", then Natasha says "Aviators", referencing the eyewear. I swear, our minds, are tuned into the same channel.
