one thing that can be interesting to see if you camp next to a river. have a platform to raise the tent a little and have a pump that pump water from the river and mist/spray the tent to watercool the tent and see how that effect the temp inside

At first I was like "what"? BUT I am so with you on this!!! Man, even better winter camping. Im so in! They do sell these hose covers that helps with decreasing the hose temperature while increasing ac efficiency. I just did a camp last weekend where I AC'd a 23ft., 3 zone Air Tent.

I was wondering if you could use a power station to run the AC. You answered that question. I'm still amazed that it was 100˚ in Washington state. I live in North Georgia and our high today was 92˚. The high tomorrow is forecast to be 89˚. That was a fun video but a lot of work to stay cool. But definitely worth it when it gets that hot. I'm guessing the temps should start dropping in another month or so. Can't wait for the winter camping adventures. Godspeed.

This is obviously silly, but it's interesting and entertaining and I fully support that. The AC might have run longer if the setpoint was increased so that the compressor didn't run so much. Viewers should be aware that most ACs are either on or off, so turning down the thermostat doesn't change the output temperature; it just changes when the unit will kick off to save energy.

Yes! I have cooked this, with very similar ingredients. I cooked it as Thai cuisine, hence different spice choices. It’s very similar to preparing a panang as well. Just a little different order of cooking the ingredients to combine them differently into a stew, using hot asian peppers and of course, much more coconut milk.

The key to drawing out the flavor in these recipes is not to cook it too hot/fast, and to let the coconut milk come to a simmer slowly, in order to bind the oil into it. 🤤mmm

I grew up in the deep south as a kid in the 50s to 60s ether no one had AC or very few could afford the unit or the power they burned - These days i eather use no AC or very little - Even when it was 105° daily last summer i was ok without AC - I do have a good attic fan and hunter cieling fans - another is i have a good canapy of gum trees surounding my house - As long as you have good ventelation and a good cieling fan blowing a good sea breeze on you - the heat is not bad at all - I often sleep during the day under a cieling fan and do things outside in the cool of the night - What i realy appreciate is the $30 electric bills using no AC - verses the $300 a month using AC lol - His idea with the AC is realy good - Down here in the 90s i would set up a tent on one of the free beaches with my kids - i put fexable solar panels on the top of our hige 3 room 25×25 tent roof - I would run a car 12 volt raditor fan as a cieling fan and one as a window fan in the tent - If no tropical storms drove us off the beach - i would camp out on the beach from the first of may till the end of september with my two sons - On the coast there is unlimited fishing for food so there is no reason to leave the camp - He .ight try a project with flexable solar panels and fans in a tent -
