Insulating Subfloors in a tiny home Geodesic dome

My daughter made an apartment in our barn. She bought that subflooring and cut it into squares, sanded them to sand off the paint markings, installed and varnished the floor. It is 15 years later and they still look great. The industrial touch.

Well done guys we also built one of these in December 2023 little river glamping unit is called the birds nest have a look we are in the north of ireland also a trudome. Wish i found your videos before now but we have just purchased another dome so looking for new ideas.

That is awesome!!! quick question how big is your dome? Could you please share to me the dome plans of the steel pipe frame please? Trying to build one from scratch but I need help with the dimensions of the struts, I highly appreciate it thank you.

I will try to measure out, but we bought the frame and canvas from @trudomes it would be worth visiting their website. Our is a 20m dome one thing I did notice all the struts are not the same there are 2 different lengths so something to think about. Thanks for following along. I will try to help anyway we can.

We have a 6m dome roughly 20ft from @trudomes and we would absolutely be purchasing again. We dis have to make some minor adjustments as you will see in some videos to make it work for our design but no other dome compared. We actually traveled to the glamping USA show and toured them all it was really helpful seeing them up close and personal. There are a few other companies that were in our running like Pacific domes and fdomes but @trudomes entire set up was top tier.
