Sir I have a question, kindly reply. Can we charge transformer, which kept idle from one year. Is there any chance of tripping. Transformer rating range above 2.5 mva 13.8kv/400v. BDV value of oil is 37KV.

If Transformer is not in service for 1 year, then we have to go for all routine testing of transformer.
