I've been doing for a few years and I feel great. I've even done several multi day fasts (36 hrs., 72 hrs.) and I feel amazing when I do. The human body was meant to function like this. Our caveman ancestors had to hunt for their food and sometimes went for days without food. Our physiology hasn't changed since then.

Thank you so much. I'm on my second month using Ozempic. I lost 11 pounds my 1st month. Since I paid for my 2nd month for Ozempic, once finished, I will do the fasting. Early this year, i began menopause and it has bn very difficult to lose weight.

I admire you for taking action! I agree, I wouldn't want to waste the $ I spent on ozempic, even tho it's been proven Most of the weight loss from ozempic is muscle loss, so you end up even unhealthier than when you were heavier. So it's vital you eat high protein (& fat) plus sprinting & weightlifting (or body weight calisthenics specifically for muscle building) to protect the muscle you don't lose & rebuild the muscle you've lost. Good job taking action!

Very dangerous. Make the effort of being on a caloric deficit and work out. I know Ozempic is easier but good things have a cost so diet and move consistenly.

Congratulations for getting off Ozempic. I mean all it does is make you feel terrible resulting in not wanting to eat. What he is saying works!..its all over youtube how intermittent fasting will not only make you loose weight, but also make you feel great!. You also must at all cost change your eating habits. Eat as clean as you can avoiding processed foods and sugar (and carbs that turn to sugar) as much as possible.

Try high fat carnivore. Workd way better than Ozempic without the horrible side effects. And you don't even need fasting cuz it mimics the benefits without the starvation.

Insulin doesn't completely block fat utilization. Insulin is also anabolic so prevents muscle breakdown. Muscle that burns fat at rest and light exercise! If you ingest carbohydrates 1-2 hours prior to exercise you're more likely to have a stronger more intense workout. After the workout, your rate of fat oxidation increases for many hours afterwards. If you reduce your carbohydrate intake and compensate the calories with fats (ketogenic diet), yes, you will burn more fat, BUT, you will also store more fat from your diet.

What are you eating? If you’re lots of carbs and junk, and your insulin is still high, you just keep losing and gaining mostly water weight. If, however, you’re eating low carb/keto/carnivore, in between the fasting, you can gain the weight back, but there should be an overall trend of fat loss, meaning your body composition is changing, even if the weight is still the same. Eventually, however, the weight should eventually come off, if you’re consistent with the fasting and eating healthfully.

I guess I need to measure myself. I have been working hard in the gym for several months. No less than 3 days a week, sometimes 5. 3 Cardio days a week too. Gaining muscle, looking real nice in small t-shirts .... everywhere except this small spare tire around my waistline under my belly button and above my pants. I hate it. No matter the work, and damn sure no matter the huge lack in calories that I've been suffering from, has helped me. The scale just keeps saying the same thing. Like it's BROKE! So incredibly frustrating. Hell loosing 95 lbs was easier than this. :(

It for very short time, but the trick is if you do not consume carbs you cortisol will increase and that is much worse than insulin, not only stops fat burning, but is also catabolic while insulin is anabolic and muscle building. Not everything is about fat burning, and the fact is if you over eat fat you will get fat as well, insulin is not needed to store fat, those calories will not just evaporate. Of course we need to find our sweet spot for carbs amount.

This is information is all well and good if one is healthy to begin with. However, if one is on Blood Pressure medication like Beta-Blockers or ARB's then this Insulin will not move, as one's sugar/insulin levels are being controlled/fixed by medication and not the body. But one cannot stop taking the medication, as one's BP will rise. Catch 22 scenario. There are also heart related reasons why some people are on these targeted BP meds.
