It is nice to have this list. Thanks, Ben. I lost 95 pounds and am at my goal weight, maintained with keto flex, restricted time feeding, occasional 3-4 day fasts, and walking. I did lose my skin tags, which I didn't even know to expect. I am still having post-prandial tiredness and mild brain fog. My HDL increased from 60 to 72, my LDL decreased, and my total cholesterol dropped about 50 points. I lost my abdominal fat and the crepey extra skin I got with weight loss is slowly normalizing. People I have known for years say I look younger, showing that this lifestyle is good for me. I offer my best wishes to others taking this on. It's worth it. Your quality of life will improve almost immediately.

If my A1C is 5.8 (pre-diabetes) and fasting glucose is 95 mg/dL, but my fasting insulin is low at 3.7 you/ml and Triglycerides is 40 mg/dL, HDL is 64 mg/dL, Triglycerides/HDL is below 1.0 at 0.63. My Homa IR is also below 1.0 at 0.9. Do I have insulin resistance with the high A1C despite all other markers are normal? I eat low carb and keto diet. I wear CGM and my average blood sugar is around 95-105 with standard deviation of 10-12.

I choose to do it the other way I’m busy day time so break fast is evening or afternoon then one free day. And if you’re worried about not eating 3pm then once a week I do 36 hours then that’s the time I don’t eat afternoon you can still lose starting fast from night to evening eat protein fats fibre vinegar no diets then brown carbs there are poor people out there who can’t swap so broccoli 🥦 but normal rice no swapping except for olive lard butter etc Prefer fitness in morning 🌅 when no food 🥘 you can take treats in moderation fasting 24 hours once a week will reset gut and remove inflammation ❤ you got this cod lever supp with garlic 🧄 ghee etc ❤

How do i know this? I have all of these issues and have had them for 20yrs.

lean is good for the heart and health i guess but as a 54 year old female seeing you for the first time, i actaully prefer the older pics of you. you looked like a nice lad handome lad, you had lovely eyes and smile but now you look like a 70's creep. i dont want to make anyone feel bad, i just see it as sad, that people become unhappy with themselves and change how they look to this extent, to fit some new standard. i know men have problem with balding, it's hard to come to terms with but they are still handsome. you looked very handsome! hair and muscles are not the important things, they are not what makes a man, no more than having a bum like kim kardasion or lips like angelina joli or hair like beyonce, legs like tina turner, whoever. They do not make a woman beautiful. You just fell victim to stereotyping same as the young women themsleves. stop changing your appearance to emulate the lastest 'beauty standard' when real beauty comes from within a person and shines through.

Do NOT claim to be allergic to something that you are NOT allergic to in a restaurant: it encourages staff to ignore allergy claims and endangers people with real serious allergies. It's also dishonest. Restaurants want to sell you what you want to buy; simply explain clearly what you need (no seed oils or whatever) and what would be an acceptable substitute. Most of the time the restaurant will accommodate you if possible.

as somebody who went low-carb keto about 10 years ago and ultimately seven years ago went carnivore, like many others report anecdotally my skin doesn't burn anymore. I'm assuming it's the animal fats. (this doesn't mean that if I stayed out in baking sun for hours and hours my skin wouldn't burn, but living in the UK with very light skin if I was in direct sunlight for less than an hour my skin used to burn now I could be walking outside for a couple of hours baking in the Sun and nothing) and another anecdote, I'm 60 years old and my sister-in-law only the other day said to me why don't you have any wrinkles? I said it must be the bone broth I drink every day. I've never had any plastic surgery or fillers or Botox. I make my own moisturises from animal fats. That's it.

Tomorrow will be day 14 of my no sugar challenge.. Here's why I started this... I saw a short video on IG about what happens if you stop eating sugar for 14 days, and I decided to challenge my mind. I knew it would be hard because I love small sweet snacks, here and there some ice cream with the kids, and nutella. I don't eat a lot of sweets but I knew this one's gonna be a mental challenge.. Here's what helped me to push through.. I said to myself: "Today I won't eat any sugar." This is what I was focusing on every day. The days passed so fast that I didn't realize how fast 14 days went by. I'm healthy and fit and I eat well, however, this challenge really strengthened my mind: "I am in control of my body and today I won't eat any sweets or sugar." Today I came across a new video: What happens if you stop eating sugar for 30 days? 😂 Lol
