even though 7-10 bullets to drop people is actually more realistic based on real life ballistics and the way the human body works in combat. there were soldiers whod survive like 30 shots fired into them without dropping, cause of a mixture of shock, adrenaline, and pure luck in the sense of not being hit in any vital areas such as the brain or the heart.

its pretty common from what ive seen atleast. theres plenty of soldiers recalling things like emptying a 556 magazine (thats the round that tumbles in the body btw, i think u confused that for 762 which only penetrates afaik) into terrorists and seeing them stand up and limp away shortly afterwards. bullets arent magical tools that instantly kill people, just like with knifes and everything else in life you either hit the vital organs and kill someone or you dont hit the vital organs and likely wont kill someone. people wont just drop from 3 modern rifle shots unless you put those in the head or heart, which is hard to do. when you dont hit the vital organs theyll likely bleed out fast, but they wont instantly die and drop from it like all those "realistic hardcore" simulator games show you. the human body is far more resilient than that.

I love everything about the Insurgency games. It's so good. The damage, the scopes, the style, the guns, the way guns feel and how it feels heavy when you're running and holding a gun. Reloading isn't super fast like COD and BF. It's just such an amazing game

Ancient Behemoth Insurgency was my first hardcore tactical shooter and I felt the community received me well and helped me. Although I always did choose German and UK servers. Don’t try the Russian ones unless you speak Russian.

They said they have no plans for it, but hopefully with Sandstorm's success across all platforms, they'd do it eventually. Insurgency and DOI just fill such a great niche in between arcade shooters like BF or COD, and the more simulator-style shooters like Squad and Post Scriptum, and damn I'd love to do this all in WWII. I wouldn't be surprised if the community started the push for a UE4 DOI mod just like how it originally started in Insurgency!

One thing I really liked in the original Insurgency was that you always knew if another character was an enemy or a teammate. The insurgents had primarily dark clothing and the security forces had tan uniforms. But with the introduction of character customisation I sometimes can't recognise what team the player is on in the gameplay I've seen. Plus, I really don't want a million NATO rifles on the security side all with unique stats.

ComfortableTV I thought hardline didn’t really deserve all the hate. Wasn’t as good as BF4 or 3 but I had more fun playing hardline than BF1. It was just a fun game.

Agreed, if released with a different name would be been very fun. O jus thought I was fun. If the battlefield tryhards didn't take it so seriously and recognized the goofy nature of the game. Used to be amazing fun with friends!

I hope they keep some of the same voices and lines of the marines from Insurgency. I always smile when I hear that " uhh--- I'm not fuckin doin that! " line when you select 'negative' on the voice menu.

coop modes alone were worth getting insurgency, had so much fun with randoms too, even made a mod where the guns had PUBG weapon firing sounds

@jackfrags i believe that if you already own insurgency you will get a 10% discount also a additional 10% if you pre-order, making the $30 an amazing price for whats going to be one of the BEST hardcore fps shooters for a while to come!

Hopefully the unreal engine will be able to handle the craziness of 35 angry bots without issues. It wasnt common but still happened in the source engine.
