INSYDIUM Training - Trail Display

In this tutorial we explore the new Trail Display mode in xpFlowField and xpExplosiaFX.
Set up xpDisplayRender to render Trail Display in Cycles 4D and Cinema 4D's Standard and Physical renderers.
Create an additive Cycles 4D trail material using the Hair Info node to map color gradients along the length of trails.
Build an additive X-Particles material for use with the Standard and Physical renderers.

Octane Render Tutorial: - Follow video steps and complete the xpDisplayRender visualization - Add OctaneObject Tag to xpDisplayRender, check "Render as Hair" and set thickness - Apply Octane Diffuse Material to xpDisplayRender - Open the Node Editor for the material - Add a Blackbody Emission under "Emission" tab, set to around 10-20 power - Pipe "Gradient" into Blackbody Emission "Texture", set your colors - Pipe "W Coordinate" into Gradient "Texture" - Set Opacity to around 0.2

I rendered the Hex scene in Cycles 4D and it looks very sharp and clean. I am a Redshift noob, any idea on how to render this in Redshift? I got stuck in trying to apply a data info node to get object info for the z translation and shade correctly...

Put a xpDisplayRender into a ConnectObject, add RedshiftObject tag to Connect Object, assign material. Now you see trails!

Put the xpDisplayRender in a Connect Object. (Add RS Tag on Connect Object) Make sure "Geometry on Render Only" is unchecked in xpD.R. . Than put the Mode in RS Tag on Cylinders, within the RS Material use RS Vertex Attribute with Curve Position. Put a Ramp with a "nice gradient" between the Vertex Atribute and RS Material. Tadaaah - had the same issue.
