these things look like crazy, nuts, fun. almost trickier than all the new foiling things (moths, eg)!?

These look great fun and oddly terrifying all at the same time.

Wow. Lots of leverage and a super skinny boat, must be rapid. Fore-aft trim looks tricky though

I am interested to see how they change sides to the wind. But I didn't see a single tack in that video.

On tacking the sitting out board is slid across. I sailed a Contender but once swapped with a Canoe sailor. Great fun, but found I was blinded by the spray!

L😮ved these boats since the first time I saw them at Chi harbour Fed week in the 1970’s so good to see them still strutting their stuff. Wish I’d given them a go when I may have had enough agility to last 5 minutes.

Wow, that's a very cool looking boat. I've never seen one of these before. What's the length and do they sell plans to build a competitive cedar strip wood one?

While I have no clue, I would guess the canoeists' reply is, a) they did it first and b) if beach cat sailors fly their hulls anyway, the canoe is superior, because they make better use of levers. (mast on top of narrow hull, vs. mast in between narrow hulls)

Lose the 90’s house music……….. Not everyone sailed back in that era
