This is wonderful. I am familiarizing myself with African birds and this is perfect since I'm traveling to South Africa within the next year or so. Very nice video.

Thank you so much Richard, for your enthralling and wonderfully filmed videos. I’m in Canada, but grew up in Zambia and was an avid birder even as a child. Your videos have awakened something deeply felt in me. I am now determined to visit SA and perhaps further north to focus on birding. What a treasure trove you are building.

I am so glad that you appreciate the videos and I wish you all the best for the planning your trip to South Africa! Keep an eye on my channel I have plenty of content coming in the following weeks and by the sounds of things you're going to really enjoy it!

Doesn't Canada have nice birds too? I'm sure you can do some birding there too to get your regular fix?

Great birding. Good to see birds on the other side of the ocean. We seem to have a lot of similar species here in Florida. Great birding video enjoyed watching. 👍

I just visited Intaka Island the week before last. Truly amazing birding place! If I watched your video before visiting, I would have looked for kingfishers more carefully. Wish I have a chance to visit it again, from Texas.

Hi Richard. We follow your birding videos from your travels near and far. We live in Milnerton and have been to Intaka with interesting sightings, but through your lens it looks even more spectacular. Thank you for reminding us of what is available on our doorstep, and also for ALL the other videos that you post. The subject matter and the quality are outstanding. Please keep posting.

Fantastic video mate, funny enough I'm about to make my own birding video of Intaka after returning from Cape Town a few weeks ago. Thought I'd search KZbin for other Intaka videos and found yours. Very well put together.

Hi Richard, I love all your videos, but you made a mistake. The giant Kingfisher is the second largest bird in the world . The largest Kingfisher is the Australian kookaburra native to Australia and New Guinea.
