I code in ruby since 2011 and I do not watch tutorials usually, but every time I see your videos I watch them, I just feel peaceful and relaxed watching you coding and I learn new things, new gems etc. Learning is a never ending process. Also I miss your videos about business, sometimes I revisit the old ones and watch them!

Thanks for watching! Personally I've only ever used Google Maps API. I did something a few years ago for a Covid map. Maybe I could dust that off and do a quick tutorial in the next couple of weeks.

I like your style. You are able to show people how to do things without talking down to them. I'm curious to know why you use docker for your database but not for the app, though?

Thanks so much. To be honest I don't use Docker for the app itself (I assume you mean development? Maybe you mean production?) because I don't like the workflow. And I don't see any real benefit to all the added complexity that Docker brings. Docker always seems like an answer in search of a question.

I do mean development. Specifically because you've gone to so much trouble to run the db in docker. Seems like not too much extra effort to get the app running since you're almost there. I'm actually working on something that may change your mind. May I reach out when it's finished? @@PhilSmy
