A major step is missing. When you click Connect the first time, you have to verify the URL by sending back a challenge. No documentation how to do that. Having a hard time doing this, so nothing else works.

Hi, sorry for the long response time here. Do you mean when you click connect inside monday when creating the webhook integration? If so what you need to give it is the webhook endpoint that you created inside make. Also - since the shift from integromat to make you should NOT be using the custom webhook feature/app in make but instead the module in the monday.com app called watch events. How would one map a parent item column to a subitem column? Specifically I am trying to map a connect boards column on the parent item to a connect boards column in all of its subitems (so that the subitems are connected to the same board as the parent). When I try to map to the subitem connection column, I cannot find it in the "Column Values to Change" list.

Monday & Integromat: is there a way that update a subitems if it's already exist, otherwise if it does not exist create it (match with text string)? Let me explain the case: I have 2 entity, 1 board with People and another board with Goods. For Each people I have subitems with Goods assigned, with date (start date and end date). When I create a subitems (and so assign a goods to a person), i need to create a subitems in the Goods's board with the name of person as subitems of the goods assigned, and This, is OK. But when I edit adding the end date of a subitems (a good) in People's board, i need to reflect this edited date to subitem that i have created before. And now this is the problem, because it creates everytime a new subitems in the good's board insted of editing the exiting ones

yes, it is possible. Check first if there is already a subitem with that name before creating and if there is a change in it instead. Use Search items by column value to see if the subitem exists. Good luck.

Thank you for your question! First off I would advise against using string matching on names of items as this is not a very reliable unique identifier as it can easily be changed. I would instead use the unique item id every item has that is also easily accessible through the API used in integromat/make. When initially creating the subitem in the other board I would also save the item id of the origin item in a column on the created item. Now that these are “linked” with a static unique identifier we can use this to match on. Something useful to know here is that subitems is actually it’s own board. This board can be accessed by the API. Knowing this we can search in this board for the item id of our origin item that we changed the date on to try and find if the there is a “linked” item in the other board. If we find it, we also get the item id of that item and can update it. If we don’t, we can create it instead as we know it doesn’t exist. Hope this helps!
