I work in the commercial plumbing space. Trust me, type l copper will last. It’s obviously way more labor and material costs, that’s why pex is an attractive option. IF you go with PEX, go with PEX B. Viega make a really good system.

Hi John-Del. I will make another video about copper stub outs very soon. I do not use copper stub outs, but when Pex was first approved in California we had inspectors who could not except or understand that copper stub outs are the weak link in a Pex system. Now they all understand that it is best practice to take the pex all the way to the angle stops.
