Nice stuff, I did 9700K 5.2ghz 1.35v (I got a R0 stepping CPU = instant silicon lottery win) , Z390 Aorus Elite, 4x8GB DDR4 3600 CL18, Evo 212 Black edition, Cooler Master NR600, kept my trusty GTX1070ti G1 gaming OC overclocked windows installed on 970 PRO 512gb, with 4.5TB on HDDs. Perfect for my 1080p144hz monitor

Nice build man!!! I got even higher fps (62-85) in ACOddysey on i5 7600k (4.6gHz OC with 2070 at +125 OC clock and +750 OC on VRAM, at 3440x1440. With the right settings on ultra or high and the right settings turned down or off, like DOF( dont like that anyway), Ambient occlusion (medium), clutter (medium) and clouds (high). I'm asking myself should I upgrade to i7 9700k or just stick with my 7600k untill 10th or 11th gen. Also thinking of make my move back to AMD.3700x 8c/16t sound good, but the fps gain is minimal at 1440p. Most games still run so smooth and mostly above 75fps some at 100fps.

On NewEgg there is a deal until tomorrow for a $1300 pc with an i7 9700k and an RTX 2070, but because it’s so cheap be prepared to have to buy a new cpu cooler and on the motherboard you probably can’t overclock or at least not a lot

How to mount 2.5 inch ssd towards right side of motherboard near the front fans... Are brackets included or it can be mounted by screws directly? I dont want to mount ssd behind the motherboard. I want to show it through the tempered glass.

That's good , i have to RTX 2070 like your Asus Strix OC and i have i5-9600k and on 2k 144hz on ultra i have same fps :) like you :) so idk if you need to buy i7-9700k just for gaming that cpu it's for MultyTasking like if you wanna do stream or something like this / rander etc . For gaming that 9600k on 5ghz if you want to boost it it's a GOD :)

Joroz you could probably get away with it but I’d go for a 750, it’s only a little more expensive usually and it’ll mean you can safely upgrade parts without worrying about your psu

Whenever you are installing a CPU cooler you always wanna wipe the old thermal paste off the CPU and reapply a small amount of new thermal paste

Something is very wrong with this build. Should be getting more fps I get like 120-140 in this part of the map with my 3700x and 170 average in other maps and the 9700k is 5-10% faster so idk what’s going on here

People are buying top hardware exactly for not caring about overclocking, OC is nice thing if you need that, if you don't need that better is have lower temperatures and more silent PC. I have RTX 2070 S and overclocking can give me only another few FPS but for what price? I have overclocked CPU because it's old i5 4670K. I bought K procesor because I am buying it for long time so I expected overclocking in the future when it will become old and weak. PS: That my RTX 2070S is overclocked already from producer, I can't get too much better frequencies, it's not middle class GPU. When I had GTX 460 and R9 380 it was pleasure to overclocking that, but RTX 2070S doesn't have much reserve. But I think 2070S is very different from original 2070 so maybe for old 2070 this is not valid because 2070S is rebranded older RTX 2080

@@Helsing-v8l Да засунь куда поглубже свой 8 ядерник,он будет круче 6 ядерника только в 4к и то не намного,6 ядер хватает для игр с головой,разгон до 5.0 на всех ядрах изи и температура норм,а у 8 ядерника на 4.9 может работать только одно ядро,а при разгоне до 5.0 на всех ядрах,он просто перегревается.
