@mariodevita661 That's the MB I intended to use for my new build. Then I started chasing tech. Now, the wife is getting the Z690-A DD4 with an i7-12700k and 3080Ti. Although I still wanted the Hero, it was a huge overkill. I'll be sticking with the Z790-E. Best to all. Happy New Year.

Pienso armar mi PC Gamer de alta gama, lo top de lo top actual pero no soy técnico en armado de PC, aunque sería bueno que me la armará un técnico especializado, me gustaría armarla por mi cuenta... el vídeo esta muy bien pero hubiera sido genial que hubiera explicado que conectores uso y a donde iba, lo malo es que seguía jugando con el botón de la gráfica y dándole vueltas a los ventiladores, yo espero poder armarla por mi cuenta viendo vídeos y siguiendo el manual de cada componente, lo complicado que vi fue todo ese montón de cables, pero de que se puede se puede.

I have the same setup but didn't get the Ti version of 4070. I installed 3 WD Black SSDs, 1 at 1tb and 2 at 4tb, Ram was Corsair Vengeance 6000 64gb, CPU cooler is Coolermaster MA620M, PSU Corsair Modular 1200 watt, Case ASUS ROG Hyperion, Monitor LG 34 inch Curved at 165 and .1 dit pitch, Keyboard ROCCAT Vulcan and Mouse Razor Cobra.

I have a question because I want to buy the same motherboard. At the top right, the two 8-pin connections for the CPU do you only have to connect 1 there or both? in your video you only used 1. and the 6-pin connection below the ATX power supply doesn't need it either?

if u only have 1 unit 8 pin for CPU it's ok for normal use the 6 pin i did not ply in to motherboard

Dude can i ask, I'm planning to build pc next year. Is the z790 hero worth it because, I'm planning to buy that or maybe other z790 series, but hesitant because, some having an issue with that, but not only that, but to other brands also who have z790 series, since it's expensive and don't want to return something since I'm impatient person and lost interest quickly.

Yes you can but its non k cpus are more meant for cheaper boards as that board enables overclocking but cpu isnt capable of it its possible but its better to go chepar board with non k cpu

Late reply but your computer is probably CPU bound with a 3090 so yes. The 64 Gb of ram is overkill

@@TheWilliamKJones I upgraded, some games run alot smoother like Assassin's Creed Odyssey seeing some 30-40 fps jump while others not so much. As to 64 GB if it's a good price why not? Seeing as many RAM requirements for games have gone up now the minimum is 16 gigs

I hate to say it but ASUS is not what they once were I did a build with a ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO 13700k corsair 360 AIO samsung 990 m.2 ASUS Strix 4090 OC corsair 48gb 7000MT ram. had to RMA the MB when I got it back I put a brand new m.2 for my boot drive. various issues even with the RMA board OS crashes, video issues. many many bluescreens and software installs causing blue screens and lock ups where things just freeze no mouse or keyboard response. overall very dissatisfied.

There's no reason why the motherboard, CPU, or GPU wouldn't run on Windows 10 Pro. I'm preparing a build using the same motherboard, with an ASUS TUF RTX4090, and an i9 12700K. And, I'm not about to jump into Windows 11 until I'm SURE they've worked out all the bugs, and "minimized" the invasive and controlling nature of their OS... 'or' the PC community has found workarounds for the 'worst' offenses.

@KL Gamers - I have same mb ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO, i9-13900k cpu and Gskill 7200mhz 2 *16gb. I installed same as you and i am seeing error code 55. Monitor is not displaying anything. Flashed new bios via USB successfully. Removed ram kits and installed in one slot still no use. Removed CPU and check all pins were good no damage to it. Screws were loosened and not too tight. Can i have your email or mobile ? i am staying in KL too.
