I have an i5-2300 Inspiron Dell, Intel hd graphics 2000 6 gigs of ram.. windows 10.. recently I have been downloading games and for anyone who wants to know what games I have working with great frame rates at medium graphics for most.. note all games that I have downloaded are from RG.mechanics the best for torrent games.. the games that I have downloaded and playing with no issues are. Gta4. Spiderman shattered dimensions. Fifa14. test drive unlimited 2. Csgo global offensive.. all the half life games. Mafia 2. X-Men origins wolverine. Pes2012.. max Payne 1 and 2..

Yes, it sure can (with in reason). But it is sometimes a mystery what will and will not work and off course it does not have a hole heap of compute power which does not help it's cause.

Win10 drivers are probably flakey as per the hd4000 series (e.g. hd4440 and hd4460), even though win 7 and 8 drivers are somewhat (quite a lot) better (although not perfect). Win8 and server2012 are reasonable test platforms and so is linux _(but linux opengl will be a weakness but some games you can hack the settings files for lower opengl like with overwatch which is probably what you experienced with fortnite, likewise maybe it's on Paladins and Valorant)._ Dual Channel RAM helps. It won't be amazing though (of course). Quadcore DX10 games might do alright. ResidentEvil series, Tropico3, Dirt, Grid, SonicAndSegaAllStarsRacing, SonicColors, SegaSuperStarsTennis, Soccer games, that kinda thing. Dota might have been worth a try.

Unless Intel release some sort of firmware and/or driver update for these i5 intel chips including the hd4460 _(or hd4440 and i3 CPUs of that time)_ with MSWindows10 stability fixes, some might consider themselves better off by changing graphics card as long as it is affordable. Even though an RX570 8GB can be paired with such a rig, unless one has a specific reason to go that high, many people go for a gt1030, however it is possible to go even lower _(depending on what a aperson seeks to do)_ and so even though an AMD r5-230 or r7-240 _(the latter for video playback, although both are only a slight upgrade in gaming performance and barely for gaming at all)_ are chosen at the risk of needing to deal with Hypermemory using RAM _(which some people are not seeking to go for),_ using the CPU with a used market Nvidia GT740 allows for 1GB or 2GB or 4GB VRAM and 'some' Nvidia video encoding. While it is not claimed as the most amazing gaming card, there are still some games for which it _"gets the job done"_ but also the Kepler microarchitecture is reasonable for old versions of linux _(such as having a 2nd Hard-drive for linux wih MangoHUD and the 1st for MSwindows)_ and those games include a bunch of hose in the video and a GT740 can be had for about twenty bucks as long as enough RAM is in the PC _(being mindful that about 3Bucks gets 4GB PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3)._ Checking motherboard and matching the CAS-timings for compatibility is worth consideration. If planning passthrough for various GPU configurations, consider if the motherboard has SLAT (and suitable IOMMU). It is not for everybody however some models allow for the tiniest amount of overclocking on that graphics-card. Some people cannot tolerate such low speeds and opt for a rx570 _(acknowledging the SSE4-1 is handy on the hd4460),_ but the GT740 is still an upgrade compared to the onboard i5 GPU like the video (or HD4460) and some people kinda like squeezing what performance they can from the GT740, especially because it has the video-encoding and thereby is useful beyond mere gaming. The GT745 is like that but slightly better at gaming that the GT740 model. Not far off _(as long as there is usually 8GB RAM in the motherboard or more),_ the AMD r7 250x or r7 260x or r9-270(x) graphics cards are reasonably low costing. All such GPU versions, before upgrading, are to be checked for DDR3 or DDR5 and so on. The r5-230 is sometimes a few bucks _(and only needs a "PCI-e x1" at gen2 slot as long as it fits such as by low-profile to full height convertor or a notched out PCI slot)._ It does video encoding modestly _(but a r7-240 wants about a two-and-a-half times PCI-e slot which means a 4x slot gen2, like a GT740 wants, unless you're prepared for a tiny bottleneck at the 2x slot speed which is like a 4x slot at gen1 even though those CPU types do not really go with gen1 slot mainboards, and yet a GT740 can be gen3 so a 2x slot PCI-3 there can be alright)._ Hyper-memory means a 64bit OS is best so as to have at least 6GB RAM spare but more like 8GB. More RAM is better though, by nowadays _(like 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16GB depending on if dual-channels matters any longer)._ Some AMD graphics cards do crossfire or can be used twice at once such as for video-encoding on one (or Blender3D rendering) whilst the GUI operates on the ther GPU. Keep a machine's security updates abreast of modernity. Downgrades are not always possible. My comment has no hate in it and I do no harm.
